Dr Esther Pui Kong Cheng
Dr Cheng received her basic medical training from Christian Medical College, Vellore, India. She went on to obtain the Master Degree of Medicine in Anaesthesiology from the National University of Singapore. Dr Cheng worked in the Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care in Penang General Hospital, Seberang Jaya Hospital and Johor Bahru Sultanah Aminah Hospital, before joining Penang Adventist Hospital. She also underwent a short term of training in paediatric cardiac anaesthesia while working at the Shanghai Childrens Medical Centre. Dr Cheng is fluent in Mandarin, English, Malay and Hokkien.

Dr Boo Boo Khoo
Dr. Khoo is one of our Consultant Anaesthesiologists. He had his basic school education at St. Xaviers, Penang, and then took up medical studies at the National University of Singapore. He started postgraduate training in Anaesthesia soon after graduation at his alma mater, obtaining his Masters in Medicine in 1987. Dr. Khoo then earned a diploma in anaesthesia in the United Kingdom and went on to receive a Fellowship in the Faculty of Anaesthetists from the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland. Besides being a practicing anaesthesiologist, Dr. Khoo served as a Lecturer at University Hospital, University Malaya, for three years. He has had experience in teaching seminars, participated in various courses and attended conferences. Dr. Khoo has a special interest in anaesthesia during Cardiothoracic Surgery and also Obstetric Anaesthesia. Fluent in Malay, Hokkien and English, Dr Khoo is quickly able to put his clients at ease.

Went to the eye specialist today for a chalazion removal surgery. Everything was done fast and efficiently. All the staff are great, they answer your all of your questions patiently and are in a perpetual good mood, especially Dr. Raymond Tah who performed my surgery, he was very gentle, attentive and caring. I have come to Adventist for most of my needs starting from my wife’s delivery to my dental appointments. Recently did the annual health screening as well and it was a pleasant experience.
My experience at Wellness clinic. Clockwork precise organisation. Pontual opening hour and queuing with ticket. Very useful checklist of tests programmed. Minimal wait between each procedure. No mistake or confusion in the sequence of tests. Very reactive response to our queries and needs.
Hospital is good.. but physician can't really do their work.. they donno wat to do ... They can't check properly.. neck can give dizziness .. they just swept it off with 5.7 cholesterol..then I need to admit again.. pls be more considerate so ppl cam go to physio and take good care of it.. not telling me cholesterol then I meed to take care of food instead..I ask for neuro but they don wan ask neuro to see me.....
