My brother had a hip dislocation due to his cerebral palsy and was in a lot of pain. The reason for this was the constant misdiagnosis and unnecessary treatment. The physical therapy professor in Ankara, where we went, recommended treatments such as the Bachlofen pump, which were unnecessary and had nothing to do with the painful problem. As a medical student, I was not satisfied with the doctors we visited in Ankara and started to search for a doctor who specialized in cerebral palsy and hip dislocation.
