Around the age of 13, I started treatment with this clinic to correct the position of my teeth and jaw. Dentist Afonso Ferreira convinced my parents, hard-working people without many possessions, that he could solve my problem without surgery. I wore braces for over 2 years, my teeth were straightened after a lot of pain. At this point, the dentist removed everything that was in the teeth, making the treatment complete. A few months later, the teeth were completely changing their position, so we returned to the clinic. At this point the doctor says I have to have surgery, something he has never mentioned before. This is after hundreds and hundreds paid by my parents without a receipt. He didn't want to know. I had crooked teeth again, but much worse after 2 years of suffering. Today I know that he could have placed some type of retainer so that the teeth would not change position again. I suffered, and still suffer, for years with unbearable toothache, a problem confirmed by one of the best doctors and researchers in England as being the result of the orthodontic treatment I had.
