Orthospecialist - Delft

very good orthodontist, Mrs de Boer is very nice and cooperative. Some of the assistants are nice and some are contradictory to what the orthodontist himself has said.

I was surprised to read some bad reviews about this orthodontist, that cannot be true because I am very satisfied with the practice! When I was over 40 I got braces. Clear explanation and treatment plan in advance. Compliments to all assistants who are very friendly and explain everything clearly. Beautiful teeth after 1.5 years. A big 10!... (Show more)

the reason I am writing this review is because I was surprised to read the "bad reviews" here. I (and my entire family) walked a super nice route here years ago. I was ready at a young age and thanks to them, I received fantastic straight teeth in a super skillful and fast way. 12 years later, a piece of glue on my splint broke (normally a splint often breaks earlier) and I was able to go straight that same day. Once again I received super nice and professional help. One of the employees was incredibly friendly and explained everything she did in detail, which was very nice because going to the ortho after 12 years can be quite exciting. Had an intake. First and last appointment. I am shocked by his rude attitude. I understand that as an orthodontist you want to paint a realistic picture. But I think it's unnecessary to do this in a rude and fear-inducing way. Not a friendly place. Fortunately, there are plenty of other orthodontists who work in a friendly manner.... (Show more)

Very well organized practice. With knowledgeable and friendly staff. If I had any complaints, I could always go to them the same day. Calm and friendly orthodontist. Nice result. Both children are also satisfied and have looked beautiful for years.

really a cancerous place, 9 out of 10 times they don't have time to help you, always waiting at least 20 minutes in the waiting room, bored telephone operators and stressed-out staff. not recommended.

Excellent Orthodontist. Already had good experiences with braces for 2 children with excellent results. I cannot post the 1* reviews, so correction with 5*.

Shit thing. You are really being ripped off. They always delay so that they can earn more money and they cannot explain why your braces need to be in longer if everything is already straight.

If you only want an intake, you must then provide literally ALL your details. A non-binding intake is therefore not possible. An intake was scheduled for 15 minutes, but the intake was ready in 5 minutes. You will then also receive an invoice for the 5-minute intake.

They are all open when the owner is there and they don't tell you how long it will take and they are probably stupid because they always close too early and they don't tell you when your braces can be removed

The progress of my braces was not great, so I asked my mother for an explanation as to why that was the case. Later on, Mr. Farmer became completely acherous and started screaming, later he said that when I was 18 years old he would break my jaw and drill plates and screws into it. My parents and I thought that was unprofessional and not normal, so we immediately switched to another ortho and things are now better.... (Show more)

After having an intake with a lady who herself has unnatural looking, literally much too straight and much too white teeth, I became suspicious. The first thing that went through my mind was; “She had her teeth remodeled in America for a lot of money!” I had to sign forms immediately at the counter. No idea what for. People looked at me strangely when I indicated that I wanted to take them with me to go through with my partner at home. Like I would come back... No thanks!... (Show more)

My wire was broken and stuck in my tongue. My own orthodontist was a 3-hour drive from Delft so he couldn't help me. It soon became clear that the ortho specialist did not want to help in any case. I had to wait a 'few months'. First an intake appointment, etc. Most likely so that they can rake in some money instead of helping someone out of an unpleasant situation. If they had helped me, I probably would have come to them if I had a problem that they could make money on. It only takes 1 minute to cut away the broken wire between two teeth with pliers. Very professional and give good advice. Also say no if something is not necessary.

Friendly, helpful and well organised. It costs a few cents, but then you get something.
