It's great to be able to travel without glasses again after more than 2 decades with a visual aid; the result is very satisfactory. A special thank you also to Mr. Inauen and Ms. Christen for their professional support from the first examination to the final inspection.

The doctors and staff are very professional and everything is explained in detail. You feel very comfortable with every step. But... a few years ago I had both eyes lasered at the Lucerne Eye Laser Center. Since the result was not as expected, I was able to repeat one eye after a few months. I had cTEN laser eye surgery at the end of 2022 and am more than satisfied with the result. The entire team at the laser eye center was also very accommodating, extremely friendly, helpful and honest. You feel like you're in good hands, from short tests to follow-up checks. Questions will be answered gladly and precisely. I can highly recommend an operation or at least a suitability assessment. My operation was carried out by Dr. med. Philipp Bänninger carried out. My expectations were exceeded. I have achieved freedom from glasses, as I have always wanted, with the utmost satisfaction. The whole team gave me very competent advice and looked after me personally and warmly.

I come from Ticino and had an operation on both eyes to improve my vision. I was pleasantly surprised by the extreme professionalism. I am particularly pleased with the aftercare and the various eye examinations. I would definitely recommend this center for these types of surgeries.

I had my eyes (-4 and -3.5 diopters plus slight astigmatism) non-contact lasered in July 2023 and I am very satisfied. It was absolutely painless. Only on the first two days after the procedure did I have scratchy and therefore watery eyes. After 1 week I was allowed to drive again. The procedure and the approximately 3-hour preliminary examination were extremely pleasant and good. I was hoping for a little more information from the short free preliminary examination, but there probably isn't enough time for that and the goal is probably to clarify whether you are basically suitable or not. You have to be aware that your visual performance can fluctuate during the first few months. I was a little impatient. My only regret is that I didn't take the step earlier. I was too afraid of having an eye procedure. With the non-contact method, you can only be under the light (laser) for 20 to 30 seconds per eye. I am very happy that I relied on the recommendations from my circle of friends and went to LUKS. I can only pass on this recommendation at this point.... (Show more)

I am very satisfied with the care, the procedure and the end result of the procedure at LUKS. The first few weeks after the laser are a bit difficult (the vision is poor for the first 7-10 days and you are very sensitive to light, it takes patience), but everyday life today without glasses/visual aids and without after-effects is worth the effort.... I can Dr. Highly recommend Bänninger! He operated on both of my eyes and inserted artificial multivocal lenses. The result is simply fantastic. I cannot recommend cTEN treatment. I had many complications, a poor result and the second follow-up that the treating doctor had promised me was refused.
