One Pery Square Spa

Disgraceful lunch. I got the vegetarian dish and my husband the sausages only to find out that the accompanying sauce (which was half of the dish) was the exact same tomato sauce straight from the can for both of us with the only difference that mine had chickpeas while my husband had chorizo in it. My chickpeas tasted no different than the one I buy in Lidl but at least I cook them properly while these were just poured out from the can and soaked in tomato sauce. The polenta loaf was tiny in proportion to the amount of tomato sauce: the dish was not balanced and I struggled to swallow spoons and spoons of pure tomato sauce with chickpeas. Beautiful boutique upmarket hotel. The bar on the ground floor has a really interesting cocktail menu, table service and a quiet relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful spot. Found it unexpectedly while walking around the corner from the peoples museum. Popped in for something to eat but unfortunately only tea/ coffee and scones was on offer until 1pm. Beautiful decor, friendly and efficient staff. Everything is really comfortable, and the location in the elegant part of Georgian Limerick is second to none: quiet, central, civilized. My third time to stay in this lovely hotel will not be my last.

Booked lunch for 3 on Valentine’s Day. Restaurant were aware that there were two coeliacs in the party. Little or no choice for them. Eg two gf bread slices were offered in lieu of a burger bun. Burgers were overcooked and my wife’s Hake was served with a made up sauce in lieu of the crumb. The fries were cold and served late. Would not recommend for lunch and certainly not for coeliacs. Amazing stay 😍 staff are so welcoming from the front of house , Sash restaurant to the Spa. Food in Sash was absolutely fantastic the lamb was cooked beautifully. Overall couldn’t fault the place. Couples over night stay with dinner. The room was a basic room it was nice and comfortabe. There were three issues the tap in the bathroom would not turn off fully and as it rained the run off dropped onto the window ledge which being plastic and hollow caused excessive and avoidable noise. No tea /coffee making were available in the room. Dinner was just OK my duck was over cooked and had a unexpected and not liked Indian flavour. This and the confit duck leg that was shredded and served in a croquette were not mentioned on the menu. Breakfast again just OK why serve very fatty flavourless streaky bacon when the hotel is in the home or Irish Bacon (Limerick). Absolutely fabulous hotel the best place to stay in Limerick. Sash restaurant is excellent with top quality food, menu is suitable for all tastes. To really top all this is the staff who are as good as you could possibly get. Putting all this together No1 Pery Square is a must.

Excellent food. Nicest beef I have ever had. Beautiful settings as well. Dining and seating areas are all lovely. Did not stay overnight however, so cannot comment on quality of boarding.

A super stay. Staff are amazing 👏. So lovely. Couldn't speak highly enough of them. Beautiful location. Had dinner there, and funnily the only disappointment. Had fois gras terrine, which was OK, but sadly the duck was tough as an old boot, couldn't get my knife through it. A lovely young fella wasn't quite sure of covid regulations on table numbers, nearly ended up on 2 tables for 6 adults and 1 child. But a super guy called Seamus rescued us. Beautiful Georgian boutique hotel. Absolutely lovely from start to finish. Attended a wedding and spent 2 nights. Food is delicious and all the staff are wonderful. Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend.

Came with a friend and had the Soothe Me Silly Package followed by the afternoon tea. The package was so relaxing and exactly what we expected but would’ve loved if there was a jacuzzi in the thermal suite. The afternoon tea was divine and a great experience. - the staff were also fantastic!
