Oliver Family Dental - Edmonton AB

Unprofessional staff, don’t feel comfortable there and freezing hurts. Male dentist doesn’t seem like he cares more wanting to get the work done quick as possible. Overpriced place, do not recommend anyone here.

I am definitely petrified of dentists in general. I went in for a cleaning yesterday, and they were so supportive and understanding, despite me being in tears at times. I came in to book an appointment and the receptionist(red head) was extremely rude. Seemed annoyed that I was there. She was rolling her eyes and making faces the whole time. Then when I booked my appointment she rudely said that I had missed appointments in the past and it I missed another I would be banned from the clinic. I was not aware that I missed any appointments. I never got reminders or phone calls about this. I understand that missing appointments is inconvenient for the clinic but it doesn't mean the receptionist should berate you. I will cancel the appointment I made, if she even put it in the system. I don't need to be belittled and yelled at when I go to the dentist.... (Show more)

It had been far too long since I'd last seen a dentist, and I deal with anxiety which made taking this initial step even more difficult. But everyone involved in my experience at Oliver Family Dental was phenomenal - From the initial communication with reception when booking my appointment and arriving at the clinic, to the time spent with the hygienist, to the brief visit with the dentist - Everyone was very friendly, professional, and caring. I really did not expect my first visit to a dental clinic in nearly two decades to go this smoothly, but the staff all worked hard to put my mind at ease. I've been going to Oliver Family Dental for over 15 years. I really appreciate the welcoming and friendly atmosphere, the ability to book appointments on the weekend, and the long-term staff. Shout out to Hassina for always helping to keep my smile shining!

Always quick to get a preauth done. Never a hassle to change appointments. Great program for reminders. Pleasant and efficient staff.

I have been going here for over 15 yrs and now both of my kids go here...never an issue getting an appointment and everyone is very friendly from front desk to the assistants and the dentists themselves...they do accept direct billing...there is a decent amount of parking available and masks 😷 are recommended... …... Oliver Family Dental has been the best clinic I could ask for since moving to Edmonton a decade ago! The best care, and absolutely phenomenal individuals within the clinic, the attention to detail is second to none. Cannot recommend them enough!
