Advice & support very impersonal. Apart from 4 explanatory videos that are sent to you by email at agreed appointments, there is no support. No direct nutritional advice. The request to receive a nutrition plan is not taken into account. No further information since the last video and submission of the associated questionnaire. You are left alone. Nobody here wants to help. Perhaps the care is only better for patients who want surgery (higher income?).... (Show more)

I am very impressed by the straightforward advice, the conversation with the doctors, the staff and the obesity consultant Ms. Maaßen was very personal...

Was there on the advice of my HA. I've now had two appointments and at each one I got the feeling that they didn't really want to help you, but rather wanted to prepare you for an operation! I find this absolutely grotesque because people aren't even really informed about it...

Dr. Gerauer is absolutely competent socially and professionally. I would put myself in his hands again at any time! Thank you for everything! Also the team on ward 34, the girls in the obesity center, Dr. Steck, Mr. Dr. Leebmann and Ms. Bamberger (nutrition consultant) are very nice and competent. I can highly recommend this center and I have to say that I am very critical as I am a medical professional myself.... (Show more)

Had my bypass surgery on July 27th, 2023. Am Mr. Dr. Gerauer very grateful that he made this possible for me. The whole department is great!! Super nice, very competent, advice very conscientious and detailed!!! I feel really in good hands!! Also Dr. Lebmann and Dr. Put in a huge thank you!!

1000 thanks to Dr. Gerauer and the entire team at the AZ as well as the doctors and nurses in ward 34. I can only report positive things and am happy to have “landed” in Passau. It's been 14 days since my operation tomorrow and I felt well cared for and looked after from day one. Thanks everyone and keep it up!... (Show more)

Nobody can ever be reached by phone. I've been on hold for 15 minutes now!!! I'm calling for the umpteenth time. Does this center exist now or not???
