My husband and I underwent IVF at Newlife with Dr Chris Russell as our fertility specialist. It was a big decision after years of trying to become pregnant and we are so incredibly happy we did. We have recently been blessed with our baby boy, and we are so incredibly grateful for the outstanding care we received at Newlife. What could have been a stressful situation was made so much easier with the amazing organisation and support of the team there at Newlife. Terrible experience here, never cared to find whats wrong with us, just pushed us to do the next round, got pregnant naturally in between called them quickly to get some meds so i can keep the baby they ignored me and said go to ur gp even though they know what meds i need as i did rounds and rounds with them ,had completely opposite exp with another fs... I was introduced to new life through my long time doctor Chris Russell. Chris has assisted me with a PCOS diagnosis and management as well as fertility advice that comes along with this condition as well as blocked fallopian tubes. The whole IVF process was explained thoroughly from the first appointment. I completed two egg collections and two transfers. The egg collection prcoess can be an unknown for most people but the team were amazing and caring throughout the process. From the Dr completing the collection to the nurses looking after you for your procedure and the embryologists communication in subsequent days. The organisation as a whole is professional and experienced. What is most exciting is that we are raising our daughter who is a New life baby and that's the result we want to share. After going through 9 years of Infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss and feeling let down with bulk billing clinics my husband and I were at a loss. After doing lots of research into different specialists, that specialised in my numerous health conditions, we came across Newlife IVF and in particular Dr Chris Russell. From our first appointment we were made to feel welcome, heard, comfortable and validated. All the staff at Newlife went above and beyond with our cycles and every interaction was pleasant and really helpful. In particular Dr Russell made himself available when we had questions or needed more clarification on something. We are now 12w6d with our miracle baby and couldn't be more grateful and thankful to Dr Russell for making this dream a reality. Worst experience…with IUI procedure. Messed up everything and no proper communication eventhough conveyed them multiple times that please give me proper confirmed information about every details but still no one . After one year and a very traumatic experience with Melbourne IVF, we moved to Newlife IVF with Chris Russell. It was a world away from the call centres, answering machines and queues with flashing buzzers at MIVF. Chris (and his team Jan, Rachel and Tash) were incredible and made me feel so comfortable despite my anxiety and nerves (given previous experience). When we moved to Newlife for the IVF cycles the team blew us both away. The service is so personal, so supportive and we really felt as if we had a support network around us, and were always comfortable with what was happening and why. Worth noting their fees are significantly cheaper than the ‘big’ players too, and they are open and transparent about all costs upfront. Sadly two rounds of IVF and two transfers didn’t work for us, but by a miracle we subsequently fell pregnant spontaneously in the following month while on a ‘break’. The continuous care by Chris as an OB into pregnancy was so valuable too. We recommend Newlife IVF and Chris Russell to all of our friends, IVF is a scary, difficult and emotional process and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Newlife if we found ourselves in that position again.... What could have been a really stressful experience was made so smooth by the entire team at Newlife and Dr. Chris Russell. We were kept informed, supported, all appointments were on time and any time I had any questions they went out of their way to make sure I knew what was happening. We were one of the earliest couples going through the IVF process at this clinic and we felt very well taken care of at each step. They used information from previous failed attempts through another clinic to help determine exactly what we needed and we were successful on the first attempt with Newlife.
