Steven Reisman MD, who has been featured on Fox and CNN, is the founder and Director of the New York Cardiac Diagnostic Center which has a patient focused philosophy.
Dr. Reisman is a Cardiologist and a nationally recognized Nuclear Cardiologist who was part of the team at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, instrumental in developing many of the early techniques in nuclear cardiology. Dr. Reisman was part of a group of select investigators with the Food And Drug Administration evaluating intravenous dipyridamole thallium testing prior to approval of this technique for general use in patients who cannot exercise.
Dr. Reisman has authored or co-authored numerous publications and has presented original research results at both the American College of Cardiology annual meetings and the American Heart Association annual meetings related to early detection of “high risk” heart disease, the evaluation of patients without symptoms with underlying heart blockages including those with “silent ischemia”, the prognosis of patients with blockages, use of dipyridamole thallium testing in patients who cannot exercise to identify severe blockages, detection of severe coronary artery disease in the elderly, and the evaluation of heart disease in patients who cannot walk secondary to a circulatory problem.

Excellent Dr. Reisman and his staff, specially Michelle working in the office and helping patients. They are very nice, flexible and caring… I highly recommend them.
My son needed two cardio tests done at a short notice. Appreciated the excellent help provided by Michelle for the scheduling. Was followed up by tests being conducted efficiently by the facility staff.
The Dr. and office staff were extremely caring and compassionate. I received my appointment in a prompt manner and did not have to wait in the waiting room. My insurance was accepted and there were no issues in regards to payment or insurance. I highly recommend this office for cardiac screening.

I found this listing from a search for endo-pat cardiac test locations in NYC. I made an appointment online very easily. In the comments, I advised that I wanted an endo-pat test. The one star is for the receptionist calling to confirm the appointment and answering my questions. She advised that the office has not performed these tests for years due to low demand. This business should update their SEO and website to remove all references with Endo-pat testing. They appear 1st in the search results with a whole page dedicated to advertising this test. Efficient, professional, detailed and excellent services.
Highly Recommend! We needed to schedule a stress test for a medical clearance that needed to be done ASAP. We called several places throughout the day and this organization was by far the best price and experience. The receptionist who answered the phone was really helpful in scheduling and gave us an appointment the next day! There were no hidden fees! What they told us was what we got. The doctor was professional and detailed. He explained the test and had the results within a matter of a day. Since he understood the forms for the medical clearance, everything went smoothly. If you're looking for a doctor that understands what's needed for medical clearance for government jobs at an affordable price; don't bother looking any further, you'll just waste your time.... I can’t say enough about Dr. Reisman and his staff. They are the most professional people I have ever dealt with and the techs are A-1. They saved my life as I happened to have a dangerous condition that required open heart surgery and I was asymptomatic. Their excellent diagnostic testing picked it up and I had the same tests done elsewhere with normal results. I would very highly recommend New York Cardiac Diagnostic Center.... (Show more)
I would 100% recommend Dr. Reisman. I felt at ease, well informed, and in good hands. Nothing but good things to say about the whole office.
This was a phenomenal experience. Dr. Reisman and Michelle were accommodating, thorough, and compassionate through the process. They both made sure to rule everything out and walked me through two tests. They also gave me advice to follow in the future to lead a healthy lifestyle. Totally recommend!
Cardiologist was knowledgeable and got to the heart of the matter quickly. He was respectful and the staff was accommodating and efficient.
The office was very professional and flexible and allowed me to get all my testing done in a 2 day period.
