I can only recommend this clinic because it didn't treat us. That sounds absurd at first, but: We were patients here, but the attending doctor referred us to the UKM pretty quickly because they could help us better with a specific problem. Even though we felt super comfortable in the MVZ, I thought it was great that they didn't want to treat us like hell, but really wanted the best for us and our situation. By the way, in the UKM we actually achieved our miracle. ❤️... (Show more)

I now have my miracle in my arms, but without the help of this practice. At first the doctor was in good spirits, but after a few weeks it was clear to him that he didn't see much hope. I urged him to have further examinations - spermiogram, fallopian tube examination, etc. - but we were just put off. I had to keep injecting myself. My husband only had his blood taken once and the promised tests were never carried out. But the worst thing wasn't that I didn't get pregnant, but rather the treatment I received from the senior practice manager. Patients who had not been vaccinated against Corona for good reason were unwelcome with her and she made this felt again and again. A number of discussions followed. If I hadn't stayed on track, I wouldn't have gotten any treatment. All these negative experiences encouraged me to take a break.... (Show more)

Unfortunately, the couple was hardly discussed, I was only called in for blood tests and an ultrasound, and I was not informed about my test results or those of my husband (who was not examined, but only had 1 spermiogram). There was also no information about the necessary preliminary examinations. Always different doctors. Changed after almost 3/4 years and we are more than satisfied. Always a short conversation, extensive information and clarification, several examinations and almost always the same doctor... (Show more)

I am now an “old hand” in the practice. With the help of several hormone therapies I had success twice. Once, unfortunately, MA. Unfortunately, since then it just hasn't worked, but that's not due to the treatment. I'm usually with Dr. Niehoff is being treated and can only say good things about her. The discussions are conducted on an equal footing and whenever I have a request regarding treatment, it has always been addressed. Now I have to say, as I said at the beginning, that I have already experienced a lot and am therefore quite familiar with the topic of fertility treatment. The assistants follow their “Scheme F”, which is understandable. But as soon as I question the situation again and my doctor is brought into the picture, we can always talk about anything.... After many failed attempts and no sensible statements, we decided to change the clinic. Dr. Kamischke is so confident in his work that he doesn't even notice when the couple isn't doing well. Many nonsensical investigations were carried out without explanations. Everything was pretty confused and no clear information. The human element is completely missing in this practice.... Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this clinic. This applies in particular to the care provided by the only male doctor on site. For me, the empathy that is so important to give this special situation the dignity it deserves was definitely missing here. I'm also very happy that I'm such a realistic person by nature; other people would have developed false expectations because of the sometimes overly exuberant statements. The changing doctors and medical professionals, however, were appropriately friendly.... (Show more)

Success x2 and both on 1st attempt. the doctor took a lot of time for us. My first is now 6 and we went back after 6 years and it worked really well and quickly again. Recommend the practice. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We made an appointment for the initial consultation at the end of November 2021. We filled out the questionnaire in advance and sent it to the MVZ Münster fertility clinic. We then had the initial discussion at the beginning of January 2022. We had further appointments until the end of January 2022, which of course also depended on the cycle. Since I had already been treated with clomiphene by my regular gynecologist for several cycles without success, we at the fertility clinic were able to have a say in deciding which treatment would be carried out. Since the chances of insemination seemed too low to us, we asked whether we could do IVF. Since the spermiogram was OK, there was nothing to say against it. Now the first thing we had to do was submit the application to our health insurance companies. After it was approved at the beginning/mid of February, we were able to submit the funding application to the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. We received the notification that it had been approved after about 6 weeks. At the start of the new cycle at the beginning of April 2022, blood was taken on the 3rd day of the cycle and I received the treatment plan and the first prescription for the first hormone injections. After 4 days I had to go to Münster for the first ultrasound check and after another 2 days for the second ultrasound check. Since the eggs developed very well, after another 2 days, 6 eggs were removed and 4 of them were fertilized. Since we decided on the extended culture (we had to pay for extended culture up to the blastocyst stage ourselves), the development of the fertilized egg cells was observed for 5 days, 2 fertilized egg cells out of the 4 did not develop further and so we were able to have 2 fertilized egg cells inserted. If all 4 eggs had developed well, 2 of them would have been cryopreserved. We consciously decided to insert 2 eggs. To increase the chances that at least one of them will take root. And if they both settled in, it would be perfectly fine for us. We were aware of the risk/opportunity for twins and were completely okay with it. Everyone has to decide for themselves, but it should also be clear to you that both want to stay. As standard, only 1 fertilized egg cell is used in the MVZ, depending on the couple's history and wishes. Here too, our wishes were taken into account. For us, the decision was exactly the right one and we are looking forward to our twins, who are expected to be born in January. We were lucky that the first attempt was immediately successful. As far as I know there are 4 doctors there and they are all very nice. In fact, I was treated by all four doctors, but it didn't bother me that the doctors changed and I didn't have a regular doctor. It was more important to me to be able to coordinate my appointments with my work, especially because no one at work knew about it. I always got early appointments. However, there are fixed times at the fertility clinic for the appointments for removal and insertion, so there were no options here.... (Show more)

You just waste time in this clinic. After 3 unsuccessful inseminations, the doctors refused in-vitro treatment, even though my AMH was 0.9 at the time, and sent me abroad. They said in-vitro treatment made no sense, but I could continue with insemination. They knew very well that nothing would happen with insemination.!!!! There is no help, nothing explains what is being done. Very disappointed.... (Show more)

My husband and I visited the practice for the first time about a year ago and can only report positive things. We felt well advised and looked after by Prof Kamischke throughout the entire treatment (ICSI). He always spoke plainly about the chances of success, risks, etc. You may not always hear this, but it is simply part of serious treatment. Everything went well for us and we have had a little daughter for two weeks...so the best proof of successful treatment! Thank you!... (Show more)

I can only recommend the practice, everything is very well organized, the employees are all very friendly and sensitive. We visited Prof. Kamischke and were totally impressed. He was always very honest and direct, which is very important in this topic. I can only say again, thank you for everything.

Dr. Niehoff great doctor, very nice. Finally pregnant 😍. Got pregnant immediately after 4 weeks of my initial examination (through tubal patency test). I never thought it would happen so quickly. Previously 4 years without success. I'm very happy thank you 🙏 …

Regardless of the fact that we were able to leave the clinic at the end with a maternity certificate and ultrasound picture, we can only recommend the MVZ. We didn't have the best conditions and are psychologically burdened by a miscarriage during a spontaneous pregnancy. The whole team responded very sensitively, tried to allay fears and answered what seemed like 10,000 questions as best as possible without complaining. The treatment is truly individualized and you don't feel like a number. In addition, clear language is spoken in a considerate manner, i.e. the individual opportunities and risks are shown and nothing is glossed over or promised. You don't always get treated by the same doctor, but everyone is well informed about everything, which means that changing between treatments isn't a problem at all. A way to help was also sought in the event of problems with the health insurance company (the kV was repeatedly unable to fill out the applications correctly) It takes a while to get into the patient file, but you start straight away with a timetable that the clinic has created individually. This will be discussed in detail and then you just have to hope that the kV will step on the gas with the applications so that we can get started. The following appointments are sometimes difficult to reconcile with working life, but kiwu cannot help because the appointments depend on the cycle and can only be given at short notice, as not every cycle is the same. So you need nice, flexible colleagues. So our warmest recommendation And a huge thank you again to the whole team for everything... (Show more)

I entered the practice with mixed feelings and of course very emotionally tense. I was probably expecting an approach like “wrap it in cotton wool” when it came to the topic of an unfulfilled desire to have children. In fact, the employees and the processes in the practice are highly professional, which was irritating for me at first. Once I got used to it, the appointments were even more relaxed for me. Overall, I have a clear recommendation; I experienced Mr. Prof. Kamischke's attitude as "goal-oriented", and that is exactly what the couples seeking help really want. In any case, the wonderful result after almost six months of treatment is now in my arms :)... (Show more)

I have to say that we were really disappointed. In the beginning you rely a lot on the doctors because you assume that they are acting with a clear conscience. In hindsight we really regret going here. For weeks I was stimulated with injections of always the same dose, constant ultrasound and nothing was done, there was no research into the causes. I was repeatedly reduced to my weight, which is simply impossible because the entire medical history was available , even the possibility of IVF was directly denied here, as was the search for other possible causes. Then the doctors are always changing, and unfortunately there is a complete lack of empathy here. Luckily, after an endless cycle of 5 weeks of stimulation, we stopped and switched. In the new clinic, people shook their heads about the treatment plans. A possible IVF was also discussed here and that all of this was possible, but it would depend entirely on what I wanted. In the first cycle we got pregnant with just one IUI and have been holding our miracle in our hands for almost 5 months.... (Show more)

Extremely grateful to the team for their help. There were times when the office is extremely busy and perhaps they were not overly warm or patient - but overall they are extremely skilled at what they do and explain everything thoroughly. The front office gals were so helpful with paperwork. A few of the doctors I saw were very kind, and I was treated with care for the procedures. Blessed with twins on round 1 thanks to these angel workers. Dr Niehoff was especially awesome to me and I recommend her.... (Show more)

As in any specialist practice, it is initially difficult to get an appointment early. But after you have had the initial consultation, things go really quickly. The entire practice team is very well-coordinated and always friendly. Even if it's part of the employees' everyday job, you don't get the feeling that you're just a "number". Every question is always answered with understanding. Especially during the first treatment you were very nervous because you didn't know the process yet, but the staff were always sensitive! We always try to find other solutions, for example we had to stop the 2nd ICSI treatment, when we tried again we tried different dosages of medication, this attempt was also positive and we are expecting our child at the beginning of next year. We will continue to visit this practice in the future if we wish to have a sibling. I can't understand some of the negative reviews.... (Show more)
