Dr Jatin Ashar
Dr. Ashar has been trained from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi; which is the best hospital in whole of Asia. After his post-graduation, he did a fellowship in Cornea and Anterior Segment from world renowned L. V. Prasad Eye Institute. He was then the main cornea consultant at the new tertiary care center of L V Prasad Eye Institute, Vijayawada. He is amongst the Youngest Indian Surgeon to be invited at the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He holds to his credits numerous awards, publications in International Journals and Conferences. He has performed numerous cataract surgeries including complex surgeries and cataract surgeries in children. He is an excellent cornea surgeon and has performed corneal transplants that include transplants even in babies as young as 1 month old. He has also performed many refractive surgeries such as LASIK, PRK and ICL.

Had been here for LASIK surgery on 5th January 2024. Itβs been 1 month now. Did not get the clarity after 1 week but post that vision got cleared with time. m happy with the results now. Also staff is really good. Thank you! π
Done my left eye cataract surgery at Mumbai eye care ghatkopar. Totally satisfied I could see clear now. Highly recommended. Now next week I am going to do right eye surgery. So happy with the vision. Thank dr jatin ashar

Had been here for LASIK surgery on 25th November 2023. The doctor is quite confident in whatever he does. Earlier I was a bit scared as things were not clear to me even after 1 week. But he suggested to keep on putting drops, and on doing so, vision got clear after 3 weeks of surgery and I am extremely happy post that! Also staff is really good. I had my PRK surgery done by Dr. Jatin at the Mumbai Eye Care centre. The staff was very good and co-operative. They gave me good advice, guidance during the pre-op and post-op guidance and now I am able to see well.
I had underwent LASIK surgery recently and it was smooth but some flaws 1. Lasik is new to everyone so please explain process correctly and donβt hesitate and be calm if patient is asking questions here doctor was not at all supportive he didnβt even see my face while taking and kept weird face in a way to get me out. 2. While ongoing operation when I was moving due to pinch in my eyes doctor should be helping and calm and supportive but here doctor failed in my case. 3. Itβs very painful post operation and I was not allowed to go home and was waiting till 8 hours only due to insurance issues. I assured them that insurance will be passed let me go and made them talk with my insurance team and they conveyed that it will be passed but I was not allowed to go. No humanity at all. 4. Finally after operation my vision of right eye id clear but left eye is not clear had word with one of hospital member but it never helped. So pathetic experience and this is genuine thing happened to me and only conveying this with my experience.... (Show more)
