I have been seeing Dr AJ for the last 2 years for ongoing dental implant treatment and I can't recommend him or the practice enough. I have been looked after by Mosman Fine Dental since 2007. Now living outside of the greater Sydney area, I still come here, even though it's an 85 KMs drive, and not always convenient. But having tried other dentists once or twice, I can say that MFD is the best dental service I have ever experienced. Can highly recommend Dr Aden Tran.

I attended the practice in January 2020. I saw Dr Andrew Prideaux for a routine check. The service appeared to be professional and friendly on the surface. However, I have never had any major work done on my teeth. I have never needed to nor has it been recommended by other dentists I have used. My previous and subsequent dentists are of the opinion that my teeth do not need any maintenance work done on them; they are good and strong. However, Prideaux recommended some work costing roughly about 1 000 AUD (estimate) that in his opinion I should get done on the teeth. I prefer to get as little work done on my teeth as possible unless it's necessary for the health and well being of the teeth. I found the suggested treatment plan by Mosman Fine Dental to be over the top and a waste of money. My service was in my opinion an over-service. Also, I indicated at the appointment that I had already got my teeth x-rayed for that year, however Prideaux then utilised a much more advance x-ray (or scan) ("at a more advanced cost"). Thank goodness I got two other opinions from a Sydney and South African dentist (the latter dentist I have used for annual routine checks for a number of years). Both have opined that the work is not necessary for the health of my teeth. I won't be going back to MFD.... (Show more)

I am not a regular visitor to the dentist and ended up with a few issues. Aden Tran devised a plan and followed it - very successfully. He's just a very awesome dentist.

Had a check-up and x-rays with Dr AJ, very professional and explained the different procedures/equipment being used each time. Very modern practice with a TV to watch on the ceiling while undergoing the checkup which was a surprise! Receptionist polite and helpful and put a film on for children to watch while they waited as well. Will continue to be my dentist going forward.... (Show more)
