Mooi Beauty Salon

Ten out of ten, as usual. Absolutely love this salon, the people, the cappuccino, Saartjie, and my hair when I leave.

Andret is amaZING! Wow! Wow! Wow! I am so happy I found her! I moved to Cape Town a little over a year ago and was looking for a Hair Salon close to my new home. A friend gave me Mooi Hair Salon's number and said, "Just go to her. She's fantastic". I love my hair and was very nervous about trying a new Salon. A few minutes into my appointment, I quickly realised why my friend described Andret as "fantastic" - she really is! Although I was new to Mooi Hair Salon, Andret's warm, beautiful personality made me feel welcome, as if I'd been a client for many years. She gave me great advice on the look I wanted to go for, and her talented hands cut and coloured my hair to perfection. I left the salon feeling wonderful and extremely happy with my hair. The salon is located in Oranjezicht. The team assisting Andret is terrific and super efficient; they work together like a well-oiled machine. The salon's atmosphere is warm and friendly. I always experience a good dose of laughter and happiness on my visits as I sip a delicious cup of coffee and listen to the cheerful conversations filling up the room.... (Show more)

A lovely little salon that is super efficient and welcoming. For those who don't have much time, but still want to be treated. The warm drink and cupcake are delicious. I'll be back.

From the gorgeous decor, outstanding service and warm hospitality of sister-owners Andret and Karen, to the homemade red velvet cupcakes and frothy coffees, Mooi offers a truly blissful experience to its clients. I haven't been to Mooi for 4 years due to us relocating, but prior to that, I was a client of Andret's for 13 years. I am writing this review today because I still desperately miss Andret and all the ladies from Mooi. I have tried at least 9 hairdressers in the past 4 years, and none of them come even close. As a busy working mother, I loved that Andret could cut and highlight my hair with astonishing speed and that I could have a mani and pedi at the same time. But mostly, I miss them for the fact that I walked out loving my refreshed look every single time. No exception in 13 years!
