About MK Orthotics Sharon Holroyd qualified in 2006 from the University of Salford with a Bsc (hons) Prosthetics and Orthotics degree and went on to become an Orthotist with specialist interest in biomechanics, musculo-skeletal disorders of the foot and ankle and running related injuries. MK Orthotics clinic provides the following orthotic services: biomechanicial gait assessment including video analysis, custom made foot orthotics, knee bracing, ankle foot orthoses, and orthopaedic footwear. We can help with the management of many types of foot and ankle pain, including plantar heel pain, forefoot pain, flat feet, ankle instability, foot drop, and leg length differences. Sharon is also trained in foot mobilisation technique which can help to restore normal motion in the foot and ankle, and Kinesio Taping which can be used as an adjunct or alternative to orthotic therapy.
