Dr Tan Ying Zhou
Dr. Tan Ying Zhou (Dr. YZ Tan), the Founder and Medical Director of Mizu Aesthetic Clinic (previously Simplistiq) set up in April 2015. Having obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from St. George’s, University of London, and further pursued his interest in Aesthetic medicine by interning in Dermatology at the National Taiwan University Hospital. Due to his expertise and experience, Dr Tan has been earmarked by Menarini as a trainer for up-and-coming aesthetic doctors. An American Aesthetics Association member, Dr. Tan also regularly attends global and regional conferences as well as enroll in courses to keep abreast of latest techniques and technology in aesthetic medicine. Dr. YZ Tan’s utmost expertise lies in anti-aging solutions and personalising his treatments to each individual’s aging and facial concerns. He strongly believes that aesthetics can significantly retain one’s youth and transform the aging process into a graceful, pleasant journey.

Dr Lai has a very friendly attitude and will patiently introduce the items in the store based on my needs. However, there is no hard sell. My acne was cured here. I recommend sisters with skin problems to seek Dr Lai.

Friendly and helpful staff, I started with the yellow + q-switched laser, then moved to the sylfirm treatment for my acne scars. Over the course of around 6 months, i’ve seen my skin improve dramatically. Also love that they don’t hard-sell anything and take the time answering any questions i have. Been coming to Mizu Asthetic for the past year for a myriad of services - Profilo, Sylfirm, Fillers, Threads. All doctors here are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Services here are life changing (for the better) and i feel safe doing my procedures here. Totally recommend, especially if you’re a first timer in doing such services.
Have been with dr Tan since 2021 and I’ve never looked back. He is super skilled and very good at making you feel calm with each procedure. Everyone here is so warm and friendly. I’ve been referring a lot of my friends here as well and they share the same sentiments.
I did HiFU face, yellow laser, ruby razor and pico razor. Dr Tan is nice person. He checks my skin every time and offers me the treatment that suits me at that time.

Great service. Dr Paul is patient and explains the treatment in detail. The nurses are also gentle. Highly recommended for non-invasive aesthetic enhancements.
Have been with Mizu since 2020. Love their new location, which is very convenient. I love how the staffs remember/recognise their customers. Always feel welcome when entering Mizu. Dr Paul is very caring, he listens to your concerns well and provide well explained solutions. The procedure(s) performed by him feels pretty smooth, overall a pleasant experience. Also, the staff are friendly and puts in effort to ensure that you’re comfortable.
