The worst experience you could ever imagine that left me on medication for depression and anxiety, I am now seeking a specialist surgeon who performs procedures to fix botched hair transplants , I had 2 consultations with senior consultant and CEO Paul Mulholland to make sure I was making the right decision. He assured me he has a team of highly skilled professionals and I would be in safe hands, my surgeons name was Dr Petru Domocos from Romania , he struggled to draw my hair line and communicate in English with a team of young technicians who also couldn’t communicate in English, they did 90 percent of the work , my hairline is low on 1 side with slant in the centre , grafts sprouting in odd directions , Paul has blocked from the Clinics Facebook and instagram platforms and has cut off all communication with me . ... On Merchant City Medical Groups website, it clearly states that their p-shot procedure increases girth and size. On my first consultation I discussed this with Paul & treatment procedures and benefits. I was offered the treatment there and then. Respectfully I declined. The following Friday I arrived & was told to come back as they were in the middle of a procedure, and they had ran over time. No courtesy call to let me know prior to my arrival. After their suggestion I waited and returned a few hours later to then be told I’ll have to reschedule the appointment again and come back next week. My last appointment was awful, not only was I left feeling insulted, misled, and disappointed, two consultants gave me two different pieces of information that they did not agree upon. Paul led me to believe one thing whilst the practitioner clarified this wasn’t the case. I was left in a room while they conferred together. I was then told to leave. Yet again a third day wasted with no specific explanation. After consulting other clinics in the UK, I have been told a P-Shot does not increase size and girth. Really pleased with my experience, got what I expected and everything was very clear, professional and friendly. Always on hand to answer questions and provide information pre and post treatment.
Fantastic clinic and superb staff,they took care of me all day and the results have been amazing.
I recently had a hair transplant procedure at this clinic, and I am beyond pleased with the results. The staff were incredibly professional and caring, making the entire experience comfortable. The surgeon's expertise and attention to detail exceeded my expectations. My new hairline looks natural, and the post-op care has been exceptional. I had my hair transplant carried out in May this year, and I’m only at the 6 month stage and seeing great results so far. I couldn’t recommend Merchant City Medical Group any more! I’m glad I got it done here and not opted to go abroad. I wish I just got it done sooner now!
Had a fantastic experience here and couldn’t speak more highly of all the staff and facilities. My procedure ran past opening hours due to the amount of grafts I ended up needing but the whole team stayed late to get it finished without a second thought. 10/10 absolutely recommend
Came to the clinic in Glasgow and spoke with Paul who was informative and explained all possible procedures fully. There was no selling he just advised what was available. I was so impressed that I booked up almost immediately and had my hair transplant about 8 weeks later at the end of May 2023. The procedure took about 7 hours and was pain free and I was well looked after and continually reassured. I was told that it can take between 12 to 18 months to get the full results of the transplant but after only 5 months I have enough growth to style my hair for the first time in years. I was a Norwood 7 so no hair on top and I wasn't hopefully that it would work for me, but it did. Paul and his team worked wonders and I am delighted with the results so far. I wouldn't dream of going elsewhere now for a transplant due to the service I have received, the ongoing support after surgery and ultimately the results. I had my first hair cut at a salon in years last month and that is testimony to the results achieved here. I can't thank the staff enough... (Show more)

I can’t recommend Merchant city Medical Group enough. The whole process from start to finish was great. Any questions I had regarding the procedure were answered very quickly. And on the day of the procedure from the minute I arrived until the time I was leaving when the procedure was complete, They were on hand to answer any further questions and made me feel completely at ease and relaxed throughout the whole day. Had part 1 of my surgery carried out last month with Dr Alaa and team. The care from start to finish was great, my case is large so is being split over 2 sessions. I was told by so many clinics I wasn't a candidate as it was full coverage I was looking for but Paul planned out a 2 session FUE procedure taking hair from my beard and body to make sure we could get enough coverage! Excellent service at merchant city from start to finish, was recommended by a friend and thrilled with the results . I originally went in for a hair transplant when I was advised I was to far gone so I was offered hair pigmentation and absolutely love it . I had my transplant with Dr Alaa in the Glasgow clinic, it was superb from start to finish. She was very attentive and explained the whole process before starting. I was in for the full day and got 4950 grafts in total. I couldn’t recommend the team enough. If you are thinking about getting a transplant, get in chat with Paul and let them make a plan for you.
