Medora Dental Care

High fees along with low quality work equals a one star review from this patron. More of a spa than a dental clinic, Medora makes you feel great but that's where the good feeling ends. Each time I would speak to them about what my payments would be and they would always state I would be paying 20% of the cost. It always worked out to more like 60% because the amounts were so high they were off the scale for blue cross. Recent reviews by other clients appear to confirm this policy. It's been quite a long time since I visited Medora clinic and I don't know what it's like now, but I can tell you that both root canals that were performed failed within 6 years. This poor performance along with the dentist's arrogance in stating he was capable of performing a root canal equal to that of the endodontics specialist in Langley gives me cause to doubt the ethics of this man.... I had 4 crowns and ten fillings done over the course of 2 months. Every contact with Medora was fabulous. Every staff member was fabulous.

Dr. Neda in particular as well as the Medora team routinely have great bedside manner and patience. They are always very accommodating of sensory issues that make getting dental work done tricky, and try to provide solutions and options to help me have a better experience.

Very professional and personable office Dr Ash is an excellent dentist I know them lol been to many in my travels His support staff are also very good from reception to dental assistant Had minimal pain and would highly recommend his office

Very clean bright office. The Staff are very courteous and helpful. Dr Ash is great. The hygienist is so gentle. I love this place. I would recommend going there.

I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent experience at Medora Dental. The unprofessional conduct and unjustified fees have left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. First and foremost, the lack of transparency and clarity regarding the cancellation policy and associated fees is highly concerning. Despite not confirming the appointments for my children, I was unexpectedly charged a $90 cancellation fee. This fee was imposed without any prior agreement or confirmation on my part, and I found it to be completely unjustified. Furthermore, the unprofessional behavior displayed by the staff, particularly during a phone conversation with Brooke, was truly disheartening. Her tone and mannerisms were rude, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable. I believe that patients should be treated with dignity and respect, and the unprofessional conduct I encountered at Medora Dental fell far below these standards. As a result of this negative experience, I have made the difficult decision to sever our patient relationship with Medora Dental. My children and I will no longer be seeking dental care at your clinic. Additionally, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Medora Dental to others based on the lack of professionalism and fair treatment I have experienced. I urge prospective patients to carefully consider their options before choosing Medora Dental. It is crucial to seek a dental practice that upholds transparency, respect, and fair resolution of disputes. Unfortunately, these qualities were sorely lacking in my interaction with Medora Dental. I sincerely hope that Medora Dental's management takes this feedback seriously and undertakes necessary improvements in their policies, communication, and customer service. The change to Medora didn't come easily after being at my old office for 20 years (I'm old 🤠) but I was happy with the choice so far. The front line staff were quick to help me understand my plan and answered questions like pro's! I have been at this dentist for approx 9 years. I have always liked Dr Ash. I am very disappointed with the office manager. She feels it's acceptable for her front end staff to make errors and expects patients to pay for that 45 days after your appointment. I had questioned the staff about the price when I picked up my bit guard. They said it came back cheaper then anticipated from the lab. Even though it was pre-approved they made me pay in full. Said they would charge my dental plan. When it's paid they would refund me. After 3 weeks I called and they said nothing came through. After 5 weeks I called my benefits provider to find out the dental office processed it incorrectly. I called the office back and had them process it again. Called my provider again to find out it was declined again because they put it as an ortho piece for the second time. I called the dental office again and asked them to process it correctly, explained their error and put direct payment to me. Finally it was processed and I received my money back. Days later I received an email from the dentist office saying they made an error and I owe them money. This was not mentioned on the phone or when I asked during the original payment. In the email the reception mentioned that they can't Comp it because the dentist will lose his license. They told me to use my spend account for 2022. I asked the office how it's right this error gets passed onto me. The office manager feels is totally acceptable. I explained I used my spend account for last year because they told me I paid in full. The office manager advided me to submit it for this year. Which is poor advice, and not allowed. Dr.Ash is highly skilled in his profession! He ensured my complete comfort throughout each procedure. He willingly explained in depth all of my options to restore my teeth and was not fazed by my many questions. His receptionists and assistants are simply the best around! Dr.Ash and his team are incredible they always put their patients at ease and explain everything to you so you feel comfortable with what is happening and all your options! They are great with kids and adults highly recommend :)
