Dentists are great, however the reception staff - Danielle in particular, has serious communication problems and isn't a fair representation of the practise overall. I used to go here for 15 years, till I moved, came back, covid etc.i lost my mum two brothers within 18months so let my own health go. Got anxious other day as my gums were excrutiating , got emergency appointment with keiran. Omg I was terrified but this young man and nurse put me at ease. Did what they had to do and seriously 7 hours later my gums were pink not grey and sore like earlier. Cant thank this practice enough tonight as i was petrified of being told off not taking care of my oral hygiene, which i had but other factors,no excuse. Can honestly say the best dentist in the area, Staff are always polite and friendly, dentist (craig s ) and the dental nurse both brilliant. Would definitely recommend.

I can't fault the staff at this place at all. Im 25 years old and I struggle massively with Anxiety. I haven't been to the dentist in around 10-11 years due to being so afraid of it. I started experiencing pain that was becoming so intense to avoid needing help. I called and they booked me in. Even the girl on the phone, Danielle... Had a polite and calm manner which gave me the confidence to continue on with my appointment. I have now been twice in the space of 2 months. My dentist (initials are RM, Male dentist), I wish I knew his name but I've forgotten it due to just being so afraid and anxious, was absolutely incredible with me. He understood my anxiety, He knew my teeth were not in great shape but he comforted me and kept checking on me throughout. He had an assistant, Blonde girl. I believe her name was Lauren. She was also great with me, constantly checking in and just assuring that I was ok. I was EXTREMELY afraid of going and my anxiety almost pushed me into cancelling but with the professionalism from these people, I'm not so afraid anymore and I really cant be more appreciative for what they have done. I can't rate the Newarthill surgery highly enough. Was due to have a bridge in April of this year, due to Covid this couldn't happen. The surgery called a month ago to let me know that they could do this privately if i wished. I decided to go ahead with the treatment. My dental surgeon Andrea is by far one of the best dentists I have had. She explains everything thoroughly, and has such a lovely manner as well as being highly skilled in her profession. I received a root canal treatment, a filling, and the bridge. Treatment was carried out and completed in just over 2 weeks, and i am so pleased with the result. The measures in place within the surgery for Covid-19 are exceptional & the reception staff and dental assistants are so helpful, professional and courteous. I've had emergency treatment earlier today. Joe and the staff could not have been more helpful throughout, and during some very difficult circumstances. I cannot recommend this dental practise highly enough. Thank you.

On Thursday I had an excellent experience over the phone with a young female dentist after calling the Newarthill practice. I had some painful areas in my mouth and was able to photograph them and send them to the practice and received a prompt return phone call telling me the likely diagnosis and the recommended advice. All staff involved were friendly and helpful and the process was efficient even though we are under lockdown. The only reason I give 4 stars is that over the years, when I have required dentures or bridges, their lab consistently made defective products which did not fit properly, hurt my mouth or left gaps between my teeth. Sometimes the items would have to be remade two or three times and still wouldn't fit right. It is a shame because I felt the dentists were always competent but were being let down by a shoddy lab which seems to cut corners. On the occasions I received defective products I also felt pressured by different dentists to accept them even if they did not fit correctly or caused pain. But the positive experience I had on Thursday has mitigated these negative experiences somewhat. I hope they are now using a better lab.... (Show more)

I am not 1 for the dentist and as I have moved I had to re register at holy town. so I tried here . I could not be how soft and gentle and pain free the dentist made my treatment . unbelievably good . 10/10 for comfort and service. good job guys and thanks . easiest filling ever

Recently moved back to Holytown and went back to this dentist, brilliant service from the minute I walked in the door. Staff where great and my new dentist Joe was brilliant. Delighted with the full appointment. Can’t thank staff enough! Highly recommend!

Had a tooth out on Fri Not good with dentist but it went well thanks to Leanne scott and her partner sorry I don't know her name still sore but that will go away thanks again John
