I've thought long before writing this review. But before I share my experience I want to state immediately that Dr. Schulman and his staff are phenomenal. I had no concerns on wanting to have my surgery with Dr. Schulman. During my consultation Dr. Schulman was very detailed, explained to me what procedures were best for me and gave me very realistic expectations. His bedside manner is great. After my consultation I was taken to the coordinators office to select a date for my surgery and payment options. 10% was required to select a date and I left my deposit. After a few days of thinking it over, I decided to wait on my surgery just a little bit and cancel. I was sent over forms to cancel and my $3,000 deposit was gone. I thought that I could possibly use that towards maybe a facil, fillers, or maybe botox but not right out loose $3,000. I was saddened that it seemed like they didn't care to loose me as a patient. But after thinking it through, I'm probably not the demographic his particular practice caters to. I'm a very middle class girl from New Jersey. My surgery was supposed to be on 2/27 and I still get emails from the practice to sign my consent forms and I know its probably an automated system sending them, but it is a constant burn that I am reminded that I lost $3,000. I had an expected emergency that forced me to cancel an upcoming in-office procedure last year. They will not refund any of the three thousand I put down. I understand I signed a financial agreement but unexpected life circumstances unfortunately happen, and I would’ve liked to have worked with them on a way to reschedule that wouldn’t penalize me severely financially, but they weren’t open to that. If they’re that money-hungry and uncompromising, I’m sure Dr. Schulman would be an uncaring, greedy doctor with my surgery. He’s not exactly known for having the best track record in tending to patient’s needs pre and post-op. It’s not so much about the money as it is about being understanding and caring about your patients. I would recommend going to other doctors who are much more willing to work with you.... I contemplated getting a tummy tuck for a couple of years and finally decided to get it done this year. I did extensive research by looking up all the top-rated doctors on various outlets. Dr. Schulman was one who kept coming on my search lists. I did see a couple of other doctors, but I chose Dr. Schulman because he made me feel comfortable and he was honest. He didn’t sell me on anything I didn’t need or want. Even when I wanted something else, he didn’t think I would be a good candidate for it but he did suggest an alternative approach. Another reason why I went with him was because his staff are all amazing. Staff is an indicator of the kind of office environment and surgeon you are dealing with. From Megan to Tania to Kristen. All are very friendly and welcoming. I have dealt with Zoe with the most during post-op. I always have a million questions and Zoe has always been VERY responsive, patient and kind with me. She is a gem! When I went for my consult, I also met with Erika. I felt so comfortable with her. She was warm and put me at ease. It is so important on the vibes I get from people. Therefore, my initial meetings with Zoe, Erika and Dr. Schulman have confirmed I made the right choice. I am only 2 months post-op so I am still recovering but I cannot wait to see the final results. So far, so good. I was so concerned how the tummy tuck scar would look but he did a great job on it. It is low, thin and has a natural curvature. The belly button was also a concern. I have seen so many belly buttons that look unnatural after a tummy tuck. Mine looks so natural! You won’t go wrong with choosing Dr. Schulman. He has checked off my boxes and have no regrets. What am amazing professional doctor and staff. Everyone was very helpful and supportive in my journey. Dr Schulman and his staff was just a phone call away, for any questions or concerns. They made the process so easy. I would definitely recommend him. He is a little pricey but you pay for what you get and yes it was absolutely worth every penny. I went to Dr. Schulman and his team for a belly button piercing hole repair. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. I am very happy with my results. I will definitely be going back to him.

I wanted to start my review by thanking Dr. Schulman for his professionalism and just simply for being amazing at what he does. My whole life I’ve been very insecure about my body. I would never wear anything that shows my curves as well as almost never be in the full body picture. I never used to like looking in a mirror and seeing the shape I am in. Dr. Schulman was not only able to give me a perfect shape, but he also boosted my confidence. The staff is absolutely amazing, they are super friendly and very professional. I am currently dealing with another doctor for a different procedure that Dr. Schulman doesn’t work with - Rhinoplasty and let me tell you, after getting such professional treatment you expect other doctors to have the same and they are so far from the level of Dr. Schulman’s team. They are always on top of their scheduling, punctuality and follow ups. I am very grateful to each one of them for making me feel so comfortable through the whole entire process where not even for a second I had any bit of doubt that this was going to be amazing. Dr. Schulman listened to each one of my requests and he gave me the most natural curves I’ve always looked for. Now I absolutely love looking in the mirror and see how beautiful my body have gotten thanks to Dr. Schulman. My recovery was super easy and smooth. My results are beyond perfect. He always says “I cannot give you perfect, I can only make you feel more confident in yourself”. Oh man oh man, if only he knew how perfect of a job he does. I highly recommend and will always recommend Dr. Schulman if you are looking for perfect results and most professional staff who will ensure you of your safety and your results. Now I know that anytime I will need some procedure for the future I will run to him and only. I also wanna add that I spoke to 8 different surgeons before going to Dr. Schulman and none of them were as knowledgeable and professional as him and his team. I am forever grateful and very happy that I chose Dr. Schulman. P.S. Like his anesthesiologist says - he is the best anesthesiologist in that building lol. Dr’s right hand nurse who been working with him for 10 years is another level of professional and kind. I found Dr. Schulman on Instagram back in early 2020 and I was so impressed with his credentials and his work. I continued to follow him on all platforms and frequented his website, all while continuing my extensive research in the perfect surgeon to fit my needs. No matter how many other surgeons I researched and before/after photos I scrolled through, I could not have my mind changed about wanting to choose Dr. Schulman. I think many people are deceived by these “deals” they see advertised online promoting plastic surgery for much cheaper than you would be quoted for by Dr. Schulman. First of all, you get what you pay for, so if you are going for a top-notch board certified surgeon, their price is going to reflect just that. Second, what I like about Dr. Schulman is when you get your quote, this quote covers the entire cost which includes surgery, anesthesia, pre-op/post-op visits and post-op garment. You are not going to be receiving more bills along the way. I went to the office for my pre-op visit three weeks before my surgery date and it is beautiful. Super clean and modern. I met Dr. Schulman and he is just as nice as he seems on social media. He is realistic and listens to exactly what you want and lets you know exactly what results you can expect. I was excited to say the least. On the day of my surgery, I got to meet my anesthesiologist, Dr. Rahmani, beforehand in the exam room. He was so kind and reassuring. He made me feel like I was in great hands as far as the anesthesia aspect. After meeting my anesthesiologist, Dr. Schulman came in the exam room. He was pleasant as always. We discussed some final details and then he was like a scientist in the lab. He pulled out his sharpies and starting drawing on me. He was gentle and kind. He showed me how my breasts would look and said I’ll see you in a few minutes! Finally, my sweet nurse, Kimberly, came in. She led me into the operating suite. All of the star players were already there and before I knew it, I woke up in recovery to Kimberly. She took care of me up until it was time for me to leave. She wheeled me out to my chaperone’s car. Fast forward to today, I am 8 days post-op and I could not be happier. My expectations have been surpassed. The confidence I feel is unmatched. A confidence I have never felt with my breasts. I met Kristen yesterday at my post-op visit and she was just as kind as the rest of the others I have already mentioned. Zoe is the PA and she has been extremely helpful with my aftercare. Overall, I am so happy I went with my gut and booked Dr. Schulman. I know everyone desires the best “deal”, but bargaining is not something you want to consider when it comes to your body and your health. Dr. Schulman is absolutely worth every penny and I told him and his staff that this will not be their last time seeing me! Do not hesitate on booking Dr. Schulman! Pro-Tip: I was given the option to purchase their post-op recovery kit specific to my procedure. It included an extra garment, bottle of arnica forte to help with swelling/bruising, scar gel and vitamin B12 shot to be given at your post-op visit. I would recommend purchasing as I swear the arnica forte helped immensely. I am glad I have the extra garment that I know fits me exactly as it should as opposed to trying to buy one on my own. I have also been able to switch them up between washing instead of wearing the same old garment from the day of surgery. The scar gel has great reviews and it is not the same one you would get at your local pharmacy, it is still too early for me to use. I also did the math and buying everything separately would not have saved any money, it looks like it may even cost more. The only way you would lower the cost would be by buying cheaper/diluted versions of these items. Do it right and get it straight from the source!... (Show more)

Dr Mathew Schuman is an incredibly talented surgeon. My results are amazing and I'm only 5 weeks out. Incisions are thin and crisp. So thankful to have found such a gifted, skilled, surgeon with terrific bedside manors. Dr Shulman took the time to answer all of my questions very thoroughly and never made me feel rushed like some other surgeons do. Class act all around 👏 The office is clean and modern, appointments run on time, and the staff is very accommodating and sweet. Recommend to anyone looking to have a procedure done. Dr. Schulman and his team did a fantastic job with my tummy tuck after weight loss. Highly recommend coming here if you’re a guy and you need to get a tummy tuck done.

Dr. Schulman has truly transformed my life. I previously underwent a liposuction 360 with Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure that went awry, resulting in a nightmarish experience. The outcomes were asymmetrical, and I endured pain from fibrosis and uneven fat removal in my abdomen. Wearing anything snug around my abdomen caused swelling and severe discomfort. This situation left me self-conscious and limited in my choice of clothing. Fortunately, Dr. Schulman performed a revision that has made me incredibly happy and confident. I am immensely grateful to him. The entire team at his office was exceptional. His Physician Assistant (PA) played a crucial role in my recovery, providing excellent communication. Given my apprehension about jeopardizing my results, I was vigilant in following post-operative instructions and constantly emailed her. I've noticed that when ever someone has a negative review about about a botched surgery..Surgeons all have the same response. " we have no record of any patient with your name in our system" do you really think that someone who went to a surgical facilty to have plastic surgery with a specific surgeon..won't remember surgeon name who performed surgery. Or facility they went to for surgery. Yall need to come up with a better excuse than...WE HAVE NO RECORD OF ANYONE WITH YOUR NAME!! RED FLAG... (Show more)

Dr. Schulman is by far the best plastic surgeon. His expertise, professionalism, caring, warmth and knowledge superseded my expectation. Dr. Schulman is honest and holds his patients' best interests above all else. He is thorough and takes the time to explain and answer all questions until his patients are comfortable. Dr. Schulman truly listens to his patients and discusses the best method to achieve the desired outcome. His bedside manner is unsurpassable. I had some revision work done with Dr. Schulman. When I went for my consult I thought I was going to be told that he can’t help me. To my surprise he not only helped me but my outcome is way better then I could have even hoped for. He truly is a gifted surgeon. My only regret is not using him the first time . After having a procedure there and getting decent results I was left with a huge scar. He did remove most of it but there is still a scar that he did not offer to laser. I’m disappointed and will not be returning.

Where to begin. Absolute THANK YOU. Dr. Schulman and his office are both phenomenal. From the initial consultation, Dr. Schulman was very clear and forward with my expectations versus reality. He did not confuse me at any point and was honest unlike most surgeons I have spoken to before. During our initial consultation, he was also very informative and answered all my questions and concerns and the process was easy to discuss pricing. There was no back and fourth like most offices, a breakdown was provided and explained perfectly. His office was also AMAZING. Megan, bless her heart, followed up continuously with me while changing paperwork multiple times to help accommodate me and my scheduling. She was able to answer my questions and concerns, when I had scheduling conflicts. The MA who was with me on my procedure day (I’m so sorry I don’t remember her name) - was so excited for me, and helped alleviate any concerns I had to make it a smooth process. She explained everything down to the T, and I was not met with any surprises, my procedure ran smoothly, and I woke up to meet Zoe. Zoe did an excellent job taking care of me, helping me transition from the facility to the car and answered all questions and concerns during my recovery period. Another thing that stuck out to me was she was very calming and reassuring when I went for my first week post opp super super nervous. Dr Schulman is truly talented and has hands of gold. I look better than I ever envisioned and my recovery was so smooth. I Barely had any pain, more so of an uncomfortable feeling than actual pain. My scar looks incredible. Bruising was gone by day 6, I did take the Arnika forte that is part of their tummy tuck kit and I believe this also had alot to do with it. I knew Dr schulman was right for me when I spoke with him during my virtual consult. I had done one other virtual consult before him and dr schulman’s answers revealed that he was highly skilled which threw the price tag difference out the window. At my pre op 3 weeks prior to surgery, He answered all my questions and made me feel so comfortable. He listened to exactly what I wanted at my pre op and took good notes of it all because I was so nervous the morning of my surgery that I didn’t even say a word to him. I’m currently 5.5 weeks post op, and I’m ecstatic that this is my new body. I’ve never been so confident in my own skin. I’m so glad I went through with it and I’m so glad I found Dr Schulman!!...
