Staff were attentive and supportive, friendly and calm.
Very pleasant and caring staff throughout my visit
The staff were lovely, the food was lovely and everyone very efficient
Whole admission was excellent. Great staff.
The Alexandra Hospital staff were very caring and made me feel comfortable throughout my stay.
I have been left very disappointed at the lack of organisation and care I received from the nursing staff following my operation at the Alexandra.
Human courtesy excellent , Treatment ( so far , early days ) excellent , Room, bed , food all excellent . Gowned and ready by 11.35am , advised shortly after lunch that i would be next around 3pm( ish ) heard nothing until 5.30pm ish told would be around 6.45pm which it was , moved to overnight ward and treated very well , but hadn't really planned on overnight stay , such is life , there are others to consider as well as me and sometimes timings go a little wrong ...Just perhaps better communication would have eased the waiting /concern ...All in All ..Very Good !... There was a noticeable lack of communication among various individuals during my stay. The operation took place at 8:30 pm instead of the scheduled 5:30 pm, causing confusion. Additionally, I was expecting some food to be brought to my room upon my return, but unfortunately, nothing arrived until the next morning when I had breakfast. Furthermore, my shoes went missing when I visited the theater. These incidents highlight a lack of communication and internal management. However, despite these challenges, I must commend the doctors, nurses, and other staff members for their kindness and assistance. I am truly grateful to them and would like to express my appreciation.... (Show more)
The room I stayed was clean, food was good and lots of option to choose from The care was superb thanks
My day stay in Lancaster was truly a pleasant experience. From Jason the porter to Sue the Matron and all the staff who absolutely ensured I was being looked after as if by my family .
My experience was excellent. The staff, from the surgeon, nurses, physio, porters down to the kitchen staff were all amazing and supportive x
Having opted to self pay for my operation due to long NHS waiting time, I found the process after contacting the Alexandra hospital very easy. I had chosen the consultant recommended by a friend. The hospital has excellent facilities. The service I received prior to the operation was very thorough . My stay on the Chester Ward whilst I had my operation I cannot fault. The care and dedication shown by the staff was exemplary. From catering , physio , nurses and Dr's nothing was to much trouble , I was looked after until I was fit for discharge. I was lucky to have one nurse for the entire duration called Donna and she was amazing and also Antonio. I would highly recommend the hospital just for the staff alone.... (Show more)

The care I received from everyone was absolutely superb. everyone made me feel comfortable and supported. And everyone showed that they did actually care.
I found the whole experience of my care at the Alexandra prompt, efficient and very professional . The hospital atmosphere is very calm and reassuring with staff at pains to make you feel comfortable. My surgery was very clearly explained to me and the possible outcomes post surgery. Overall, I am very pleased with my treatment.... (Show more)
Very happy with my treatment at the hospital. Chris from administrations was amazing and helpful, she went above and beyond. Very impressed. Thank you
All staff were knowledgable, reassuring and friendly from the minute we arrived until I went home later that day .
Communication prior to my visit was very poor. I had to ring the hospital to find out when the Pre-op assesment was. I found out it was scheduled for the next day when I had a business meeting. The appointment letter was missed as "cblease via Circle" as a subject heading meant nothing to me.
Professional Staff no complaints very happy and satisfied with service I was well looked after
I have had such a bad experience with medical professionals through NHS before and so made the decision to go private this time and I am so thankful I did! Everyone at The Alexandra Hospital were all so friendly and truly listened to my worries and needs and ensured I was as comfortable as I could be throughout my day case surgery. I honestly do not have a bad thing to say, everything about my stay and treatment was exceptional and I would definitely return in the future! Heather on Lancaster Ward especially was so lovely and really cared for me well. My consultant was Mr Andrew Pickersgill and I was being treated for stage 4 endometriosis and I could not be more thankful of him for everything he has done for me. My family have also all commented on how much better I am looking this time around in my recovery and I really feel it is because of the amazing aftercare that I received immediately after my surgery. Thank you so much.... (Show more)
