Dr Mary Ann Kuharchuk
Diploma in Dental Hygiene in 1980 from University of Alberta Degree in Dentistry in 1986 from University of Alberta Currently enrolled in the Las Vegas Institute of Aesthetic dentistry Member of the Canadian and Alberta Dental Association Past member of the Peer Assistance Committee. She has taught courses in both dentistry and dental hygiene. Dr. Kuharchuk is a dedicated dental professional who places an emphasis on esthetic and preventative dentistry, neuromuscular dentistry and TMD.

I’ve been at MAK dental for almost 20 years. Dr. Nijjer is a meticulous and caring dentist. Julia is the best dental hygienist. My daughter goes there too and we’ve also received excellent paediatric care.
Dr. Kuharchuk is the kindest, honest doctor i have come across, she was exceptional just like her front staff mckayla and the hygienist but i had the unpleasantry of coming across some other individuals who are not as sincere and truthful, they have mix staff, ensure to ask your questions and do what you feel is right for you and not cause they say so; or compel you to feel differently. After Dr. Kuharchuk told me what i need and what i dont the staff was forcing me for another follow up; and i repeated that the dr literally said i dont need to currently then the staff member got pissed and wanted me out of there as possible and made it extremely awkward. I understand its a business but when consumers are truly trusting what is needed i dont think making money off ppl that way is a smart idea, ppl aren’t stupid even if they trust your opinions. I definitely learnt a lesson here. Thank you Dr. Kuharchuk you made my visit exceptional.... (Show more)
First visit with Dr. Nijjer and team. Friendly and efficient receptionists! The office was nicely decorated and they were prompt.…no waiting was appreciated. Lily the dental assistant was lovely and completed the tests and pictures quickly. Dr. Nijjer explained everything as he examined my teeth and was thorough and very personable. My kids have been coming here since they were two, and have had great experiences. Going to the dentist is no big deal, in fact they look forward to picking out their toy at the end!
All the staff @ MAK Dental are amazing. They also explain the importance of proper dental care and how important it is
MAK dental gave me an appointment as soon as I phoned regarding tooth pain. They work well with the insurance companies as well so the client doesn't have to do a ton of paperwork

For some, going to the dentist can trigger childhood memories of dentist visits that were frightening and painful. I grew up in the 1960's as an anxious child. Dr. Kuharchuk puts me completely at ease and I've been going to Mak Dental for 23 years. Recently, I was astonished to experience a COMPLETE absence of pain with a recent root canal as I didn't even feel the needle this time! Another time, I feel asleep during a root canal. My thanks to Dr. Kuharchuk for so beautifully mending my chipped front tooth on very short notice.
I was originally referred to Mak Dental for severe TMJ pain about 6-7 years ago. Dr. Kuharchuk and her staff were extremely helpful and skilled and corrected the problem with several treatments and techniques. Since then, Mak Dental has been my regular dentist as well. The front staff and hygienists are always friendly, helpful, efficient and professional. Dr. Kuharchuk is always personable, helpful and has worked with me for years to have the best mouth/jaw health possible.
