I’ve been going to body haven for a while now and I absolutely loved the massage it feels nice and so relaxing until today The lady had told me to let her know if the pressure was too much and I told her 4 times to go lighter which she kind of laughed at and stayed with the same pressure. It was so painful I was literally gasping for air, I didn’t request any new (which I should have) I just thought that the more it hurts the more affective the massage would be but upon googling that isn’t so much the case. Inappropriate touching and commenting on body, very uncomfortable behaviour from older woman

I have been a client of Body Haven Massage Mackay for more than 4 years and I have always found my experience to be thorough and effective. The service is well established and delivers a welcoming experience with soothing music playing to assist with complete relaxation.

Worst massage I have ever had I asked for 45 minutes remedial massage , she did only head and neck for 40 min and 5 min on arms to extent that I get sore at my back . She kept repeating the same movement for 40 min. She seems as if she doesn’t know what she is doing . I asked her at the middle of the session if she will do arms and legs and she said “yes”. At the end she said that 45 mins are not enough for legs and arms !!!!.... (Show more)

They are very professional and makes it very calming. I like just getting the full body massage and you can use your health insurance.

Terrible massage, could feel her fingernails scraping my skin. I paid for a deep tissue and asked for more pressure and to please focus of neck and shoulders (there are signs on the wall in each room asking you to say something to the masseuse). I could feel the masseuses sharp fingernails and she was so inconsistent. She went from using her elbow to a rub down with the palm of her hands. It honestly was so unprofessional and a complete waste of money. I also highly doubt many of the 5 star reviews are actual clients especially the ones mentioning hicaps/health fund rebates, more likely the masseuses themselves or friends or family giving false reviews to boost their overall review score. The facilty itself is clean enough but my experiences were not good. Would not recommend.... (Show more)
