Actually this dentist and DH don't even get 1 star! I had a crown fall out during the DH! Not my fault and yet I had to pay for the repairs myself! I went to the dentist yesterday for a root canal treatment. And Dr. Radmacher treated me very competently and was very friendly and well-positioned. He just made me feel good and was able to take away all my worries. So I can only recommend it.

At Lifedent, braces cost almost 17k, the agreed price was 12k. My experience with LifeDent Volketswil It was about braces. A preliminary examination was carried out, impressions, computer images and videos were created and then a cost estimate of CHF 12,000 was created. At other dentists in Volketswil and Dübendorf it was between 10,000 and 11,000 francs at the same time. But I trusted this dental team and they seemed very professional, which in hindsight was a mistake. It was agreed in writing that in the event of deviations (unexpected cost increases occur) this cost estimate of more than 15% of the patent would be informed, but this was never done verbally or in writing. Even my written email was never answered back in writing. There were only comforting words “that it will soon be over” was said at the next treatment. The email pointed out that CHF 12,000 plus 15% had been reached, but it was ignored. From my point of view, the treatment was also extended because the orthodontist was on vacation at short notice or there were other reasons for a new appointment weeks later. I also had the feeling that there were often dental staff at work who were still learning the craft and that the work was often not done properly, which meant that I sometimes suffered injuries to my gums. I also had the feeling that I was getting fewer aligners (Invisalign - disposable braces) on a regular basis, so I had to come in more regularly, as the orthodontist could be charged another CHF 228.40 for less than 5 minutes. I often had to endure very long waiting times, well beyond the agreed appointment. When I was actively being treated by the orthodontist, he was regularly away or had something else to do on the side. The treatment with the Invisalign aligner was repeated three times because the disposable braces no longer fit from number 30+/-, which I found incomprehensible since the computer was able to calculate it precisely using impressions and computer images. I wore the Invisalign aligners day and night. Often even the same disposable braces for weeks because appointments were postponed and I no longer had braces. What the orthodontist always said at every session: “It’s nice that I’m taking part and you can see that too”. Unfortunately my canine tooth did not move easily, this was noticed during the first repetition of the Invisalign aligners, but then the question arises, why was nothing done or was it the right treatment with Invisalign aligners? Perhaps there was no going back as Lifedent had to pay the amount of CHF 2800.20 for the Invisalign lab. (3 times Lifedent can order new disposable braces free of charge from Invisalign Laboratory if they don't fit) Unfortunately, the invoice was sent to me by mistake, which was not professional. This is just a small insight into a treatment period of more than 3.5 years and the final bill of CHF 16,793.15. Cost estimate of CHF 12,000 Unexpected costs 15% (only applicable for unexpected costs - may not be included as a flat rate) Final bill of CHF 16,793.15 => So 4,793.15 over the cost estimate. Conclusion: The canine is not quite there yet, but looks better, the other teeth are in +/- position. I didn't want any more, otherwise it would take more than 4 years and then it would cost more than CHF 20,000+. Update: I received a letter from LifeDent in the mail dated April 12, 2023. (So ​​much for data protection and data use) It says: “We see the review as damaging to our reputation and hereby ask you to delete this review in your interest. Otherwise we will be forced to take legal action.” My rating should truthfully reflect my experience and what I can prove.
