The LUFC is the first Center for Reproductive Medicine in the Benelux that received the ISO 9001-2000 Certificate for High Quality Care for patients with fertility problems. The LUFC is also the first Center for Reproductive Medicine in Europe that has applied for recognition as a Training Center for Subspecialization in Reproductive Medicine by EBCOG (European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynecology) and ESHRE (European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology).Furthermore, the Center has a fully established Laboratory for Spermatology and Assisted Reproduction with and an internal and external Quality Control program that meets the requirements from ESHRE.
