While we respect your view and the time you took to share your experience, we find ourselves in disagreement with the portrayal of the events. We have read your review, and to our defense, we would like to address the concerns since you have chosen to make a public review, which we feel is simply not accurate. We have been operating for over 8 years, with dedicated professionals renowned in our industry, who have built long-term relationships with many of our repeat patients. At our Somerset West practice, 80% of our patients are repeat patients. Most of our staff members have been with us for between 6 and 8 years, reflecting our commitment to a positive and professional work environment. Our success and the trust we've built with our patients would not have been possible if we treated patients in the manner described in the review. In the situation you've described, our doctor and medical team observed several warning signs that led to the decision not to proceed with treatment. Due to our experience, we have developed certain protocols on how to deal with individuals who we believe are not a fit for our practice, and these are also in line with global best practices for ethical patient care based on the latest research. This was explained in a very sincere manner after consulting with you at your appointment and again outlined below: 1. Being late without apologizing (there is a certain level of respect and good mannerism required from both sides). 2. Speaking negatively about other esteemed medical professionals (highly respected plastic surgeons and cosmetic dentists who we know will not treat patients in the manner you described). While we welcome expressing concerns, there was a high level of exaggerated accounts and unwarranted disparaging remarks. 3. Constantly demanding and even insisting on unrealistic guarantees. 4. Interrupting our doctor during explanations to addres these demands, as well as not fully understanding the feedback that the doctor was trying to convey to you. 5. There were several more concerns, but we do not disclose these on a public platform like Google, as these may relate to personal conditions and other wellness-related observations. At our practice, patient education is key to managing realistic expectations and ensuring our patients can make well-informed decisions with the aim of achieving patient satisfaction. We have further, in a very friendly and professional manner, explained that this simply isn't a fit for both of us, which we feel is also to the advantage of the patient. We'd rather let you work with someone that can meet your expectations or a person with whom you also find a connection. Aesthetic treatments are very personal, and it's important to find a professional that will work well with you to meet your desired outcomes. We stand by our decision as one made in the best interest of both the patient and our practice. We hope you find a suitable doctor or practice that you find synergy with. Wishing you all the best!
