I was examined quickly and thoroughly. A cardiac catheter was placed and the team was great. The head doctor even managed to get the catheter through the arm where others had to go through the groin. The room was clean and the food was also varied.
We took our mother (84) to the Vest Clinic in November 2023 with a suspected stroke. After waiting for hours, various examinations were carried out, all of which were aimed at global amnesia. Unfortunately, the request for an MRI to be carried out quickly was not complied with, citing the fact that no appointment was available. An MRI was done 7 days later and the suspicion of a stroke was confirmed. Unfortunately it's too late and the consequences left behind are irreversible. Since this incident, my mother has undergone a major change in personality and has become significantly quieter, more depressed and forgetful. On Shrove Monday 2024, due to her poor overall condition, she fell on her head, causing a laceration and fainting. Since the emergency room at Prosper Hospital was overloaded, she was taken back to the Vest Clinic by RTW. Now a medical odyssey began that is second to none. My mother had lost over 10 kg of weight in about 14 days and was in very poor condition overall. 4 days !!! After admission, at our insistence, the first more in-depth examinations began. Blood values, far removed from good and evil, did not give the slightest reason for the treating doctors to react promptly. It wasn't until the 5th day and the threat to immediately take our mother to another hospital that further measures were taken. In summary, we can only say that our family members or relatives, as well as ourselves, will never again have a future stay at the Vest Clinic, even as private patients. Perhaps the Vest Clinic would be well advised to invest the much money that is invested in marketing and advertising in the care of its patients? It's a shame that something like this is still possible these days and, above all, has no consequences.... (Show more)
Incredible! My very elderly mother had to have emergency surgery. After 24 hours I still have no competent feedback about her condition. In these Corona times, the telephone is the only means of communication, but the ward is very difficult to reach and if so, a student nurse will answer. I should now continue to call the doctor. This situation affects Station 4B!... (Show more)
I have never seen such an unfriendly employee in my life. Very unprofessional. (This is about an employee in the radiology secretariat)
This hospital used to be good. I had been on ward B7 and the only thing the hospital had managed was a stomach reduction. After that, the hospital just went downhill. I even caught a hospital germ there. I sometimes had to spend months there because complications kept arising and it was definitely due to the doctors' treatment. Now the barrel has overflowed. Because the doctors were unable to transfer me from accident surgery to the right ward in order to receive further treatment. Although the health insurance company was informed and the hospital would not have had any problems with the health insurance company. I was actually supposed to be admitted to neurology as an inpatient. But because of the fall, they admitted me as an emergency and the instructions were ignored. Because you bill an emergency admission differently. Better for the hospital. If I had been treated neurologically, I would have had to be admitted again after my discharge. This hospital does not see the patient in the foreground but only the euro banknotes. In this hospital the symptoms of an illness are treated but not the cause. There are many incompetent doctors in this hospital. I will definitely never go to this hospital again. My tip to everyone is to go to another hospital. Regardless of whether it is accident surgery, neurology or cardiology. And all other stations. I give this hospital zero stars.... (Show more)
I'll assess the parking situation around the hospital. At the moment my husband, who has cancer, is in the hospital and I have to pay 10.00 parking fees almost every day, plus 6.00 every three weeks for each chemotherapy treatment, and an MRI or a CT scan on two consecutive days, another 8 € then every week the blood sample costs another €4.50. Unfortunately, we have to rely on the nearby parking spaces because my husband needs oxygen and can't walk very far, so we can't use outside parking spaces. It's a shame, in other clinics this is solved differently or you can even park there for free. It would be nice if you took something like this to heart and maybe changed something or perhaps charged slightly different parking fees for long-term guests... (Show more)
This hospital is simply not recommended! You wait a full 5 hours in the waiting area of the emergency room. You are finally admitted to hospital, where you lie in ward 4 for 3 days and nothing is done. And you are just put off. Finally something is done on Fridays so that you can stay there over the weekend!!!! Part of it so that only the beds are occupied over the weekend. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 Organizationally it was a complete disaster! Cleanliness equal to 0!!!!! I work in the medical field myself, if that's how I would leave my job, then cheers meal! It's all well and good that there seems to be a lack of staff, but that shouldn't be a reason! The nurses are very nice, with the doctors the right hand doesn't know what's going on with the left hand!... (Show more)
You don't even deserve one star. The ward is very bad and is the worst hospital I have ever visited. I won't recommend the KH.
From 28.2. until March 9th I was a patient at the Knappschaftsklinik Recklinghausen, I felt I was treated very well by both the doctors and the nursing staff, I never had the feeling that I was being treated as a continuous number. Thank you very much for that. Norbert Galle
Good service
B1 Stroke - Can only praise the staff 👍👍👍 …
Hello, the initial consultation was very well explained, a day later admission and very, very friendly staff. If I could give 6 stars I would have given it. LG. Klaus Raseck
Had an appointment with Dr. Beermann! Everything was to my satisfaction!! Everyone friendly + nice!!
Horrible conditions in the emergency room. When I handed over the insurance card I was greeted unfriendly. Then we had to wait 4 hours and that is not acceptable. Never this clinic again.
Doctors are competent, friendly and empathetic. Staff the opposite. "You're mobile" sound from a nurse after gastric surgery. Not placed in the correct station. Post-hospital questions will not be answered. I've seen much better clinics
Our thanks go to ward 5a. The nurses and doctors who looked after our father so lovingly every day. And just gave each other a hug in difficult moments. I hope your efforts will be rewarded at some point.
The emergency room is a disaster. With an acute problem, waiting time for over 4 hours!
The complaints office works promptly and effectively. The employee Mr. Oetztuerk reacts quickly and competently.
It has now been many years since we were at this KKH for the birth of our daughter. What we had to experience there and subsequently cannot be erased. Today we would not leave what we experienced without consequences for the KKH.
I am the organization here at the hospital and the processes have no plan. The room cleaning was sporadic once within a week and once at least with a bad experience, the service staff for the food are very nice and very attentive. The food is OK. The medical care from the doctors is very good when you see them The processes at the stadium are incomprehensible, first breakfast then vital values test. Sorry, but anyone with a bit of medical understanding won't be able to understand this. Kind regards from the hospital... (Show more)
