I thought a lot before seeing a doctor, but after seeing 5-star reviews nearby, I chose this hospital. Dr. Cai is very kind, patient and caring. He understands the condition in detail and not only gives appropriate medicines, but also gives kind reminders. I learned a lot of things to pay attention to, and finally asked me if I had anything to ask? This kind of treatment attitude gave me great comfort, and I really deserve praise and a five-star rating. The fees are also reasonable. Not expensive. I suffered a sudden gout attack on my ankle. The colchicine tablets I brought with me didn't provide much relief. I endured the pain for one night and went to the clinic early the next morning. The clinic was small and very clean. The doctor prescribed some strong medicine, and I felt better in the afternoon. I no longer had pain at night. Dr Chuah is very gentle and professional. Always spend time to explain. His medicine is always so effective compared than other clinics. Very reasonable price too

I saw positive review with this clinic and been 10 over years never get sick. Lost my voice and don’t feel pain. I visited this clinic on 4/7/22 at 14:40pm. The receptionist very speedy register and meet up Dr Chuah within 3-4minutes. At first he have 1-2 question before begin the consultation, check the throat and diagnosed my problem. He explained and seek acknowledgment the function and concern before he provide the medications. I am confident after meet up the doctor and feeling better after leave the room. I came out check with receptionist can settle online banking or Credit Card. She politely inform only cash and I rush out to next door bank to withdraw Rm400 and hoping it’s enough to pay. End up the receipt show RM 65. I felt such a good experienced and caring doctor with this fee should be highly appreciated.... (Show more)

Klinik Permai was recommended by my sister who had a good experience there. I've visited the clinic twice so far for different issues and was very impressed by Dr Chuah's professionalism, knowledge and friendly manner. Would definitely recommend the clinic!

Dr Chuah gave clear explanation which is simple for lay people to understand. He encourages patients to recover the healthy way and not just cure through medicine alone. Fee is reasonable, too.

First time visitor to Penang, US citizen and was very unwell with a high fever, and body aches. I knew it was time to visit a physician but had no idea who to see. Looking at Google reviews, Clinic Permai had high marks and was close to the Doubletree where my wife and I are staying. Not having any prior experience with medical care in Malaysia, I was trepidatious at to expect for the level of care and the cost. I can say, this was the best medical visit I have ever had. There was no waiting, the doctor was kind, patient, and courteous. He reviewd my medical history, did an exam, provided options and a recommendation. I feel better and highly recommend them.
