We had three ICSIs in Schönhauser Strasse and after the “not pregnant” or zero fertilization there were no constructive words, that’s just the way it is. It also calls "only" a doctor's assistant. In January 2019, my husband and I decided to seek advice from a fertility clinic. From the very beginning we looked to Dr. Merzenich felt that we were in very good hands - for us, the direct way without much fuss and flourishes was just the right thing. We wanted clear facts and we got them. If we didn't understand something, we could ask at any time - also by email, which was always answered very quickly. After the whole, very detailed diagnosis, we had a consultation at the end of July before we wanted to figure out how to proceed while we were on vacation. Although the clinic would certainly have earned more from an ICSI, we were given factual advice on the various possible methods - also with regard to the chances of success. Since we wanted to give nature at least a small chance, we announced in August 2019 after our vacation that we would like to try insemination. Unfortunately, the first treatment cycle did not lead to a pregnancy. In the second treatment cycle, ovulation came too early despite close monitoring, so that the second insemination could only take place in the third treatment cycle. We are now 13 weeks pregnant and overjoyed that we were able to freely choose the treatment method. Both the call after the unsuccessful insemination and the one after the successful one were both very empathetic. We also always had the impression that we always had the opportunity to ask any questions or clarify uncertainties without anyone checking the clock or getting impatient because the next patient was waiting. I am very satisfied with the doctor Ms. Fabian, but the administration behind it is an absolute disaster. There is obviously no way to reach the practice by phone (calls cannot be accepted for capacity reasons), no response is received to the contact form on the website, the appointments requested via the appointment coordination tool are all rejected and all this DESPITE the request to contact us, because it is an acute case.
