Kai Medical Clinic

Pleas please don’t ever forget your mask when coming to this clinic otherwise you will be either charged 10cents or you have to go down and buy it yourself. Apparently it is kind of understandable to wear mask in the clinic. However, when I want to pay it through scanning the paynow QR code, they asked me to pay cash. So I dig my entire bag and only found a $1 coin…ya so I end up getting the return with numerous small amount coins shown in the picture… not sure why paynow is not acceptable… I would suspect that this earning will not be in bookkeping… although it’s just a small amount it can be consider as illegal to some extend… anyway it’s also a lesson learnt for me. Brought my mom for pneumococcal vaccine and flu vaccine shots. The subsidized charge for a flu shot was $9 for pioneer gen. Dr Tan promptly absorbed that fee, reason being he wanted to encourage more pioneer generation to take flu shots. How noble!! The clinic staff was also helpful and courteous, deliberately leaving her counter to unlatch doctor’s room door so that we could push the wheelchair in with ease. Dr Tan is meticulous and take time to explain the details to his patients. Despite a number of patients waiting in the queue, I really appreciate his attentiveness.

Very patient, caring and delicated doctor, the best doctor I have seen so far. I went to him for consultation following a company medical screening which left me in fright as the lab diagnosed me with possible kidney problem, he explained to me in great length the technical aspect of blood testing where no doctor will bother explaining, what are the possible causes for the out of range reading etc, he further explained in details certain diet which may caused advserse effect to blood test results, I have learned so much from Dr Tan. Doctor Tan is one of the most knowledgeable friendliest doctor I've known. What I liked about him is that he took the trouble to explain to me my issues and symptoms and the reasons and the science behind the treatment. Don't get any professionalism from this doctor. Told him got headache ask go for brain scanning in Neuroscience center and doctor there was surprised why the referring was needed, given medicine for relaxing and Panadols for pain and spent over $500 for full screening. Return back for review, this Kai doctor still say all normal, next time if need relaxing medicine can buy from him. Another mongolian doctor.... (Show more)

I brought both my children to see Dr Tan on separate occasions for different illnesses. On every visit, I found Dr Tan to be very professional and knowledgeable in his treatment of my children. He was very thorough in his assessment of their ailments and only prescribed medication that was suitable and effective for their quick recovery. Dr Tan is also a very caring doctor. When he noticed that my son had some fungal infection on his face. Dr Tan also taught him how to take care of it. Dr Tan is truly a gem!... (Show more)

I used to visit this doctor when I lived in Singapore (I don't live there any more). He used to be our regular physician for at least 5 years. At first he seemed to be nice and friendly. But, in the last one year we used to visit him (that is, after 4 yrs of seeing him), I found he used to make vaguely racist remarks, as I am Indian. Something about my skin colour, etc., which I found to be quite inappropriate. This was the time around which xenophobic feelings were becoming more apparent in that country (2013). I found out lately that SG has even stopped issuing work visas to Indians. Anyway, this doctor turned out to be a somewhat racist douche, and also used to find ways to increase visiting charges (take ECG unnecessarily, etc.)... (Show more)

I've been going to see Dr Tan of Kai Medical Clinic for about the last 10 years. I find him very caring, conscientious and thorough. Very professional. My mother sees him too and we are both very happy with him

I've gone to many beauty salons seeking help to clear my facial pigmentation due to my outdoor trainings under the sun. Recently i tried out at kai's medical n saw Dr Tan who did a great job removing my melasma on my face. I was amazed by his patient n gentleness explaining abt the procedure so dat i got minimised pain frm the lazer...staffs at the clinic were v friendly n polite asked me if i hv my dinner first when there is a queue. My family hd bn seeing Dr Tan for abt three years... even til nw.. Dr Tan professionalism n friendliness always there... when u consult him... the charges are fair also n it really helps esp for heartlanders like us... hope there are more heartlander family doctors like him.. thank you Dr Tan
