Thankyou so much to the whole team at Southern OMS , my experience was warm and welcoming the moment I entered (even with kids in tow) the reception ladies both so lovely.. come the surgery day of three wisdom teeth I was nervous for, but the process of it all was relaxing, calm music , lovely caring nurse and reassuring surgeon. Angus was so gentle and efficient I barely felt the procedure, I felt safe and in very good hands, the after math has been a breeze also , very little pain at all. Really impressed with the experience from the initial phone call through to the procedure. Highly recommend, all the staff I met were wonderful and I was well cared for.

I recently had my wisdom teeth removal done by Southern OMS and they were wonderful every step of the way. Reception is friendly and helpful, and the doctor has great bedside manner. Dental assistants are knowledgeable and comforting if you are nervous. Would highly recommend.

I had two implants at Southern OMS. Every person there was polite, careful, knew what they had to do, were happy and confident. The implants worked well. Would I go there if I needed another? Without hesitation.

From the moment we walked in the waiting room we had confidence in Southern OMS. Sue the receptionist greeted us so warmly and as we waited we couldn't help but observe her calm professionalism and knowledge, she really is a beautiful first impression of the practice. Then confident Mr Cameron consults the x-rays and photos taken and reassures you that (for our particular situation the procedure will be straightforward) and we will be well looked after. We are given a step by step plan that we can understand. On the day of the surgery my daughter was taken through what all the equipment was called and what it was for, even down to the cosy blanket, once the IV was inserted (incidentally it left NO bruise....at ALL!) It was a quick kiss of my daughters forehead and I left her in the capable hands of the Professionals. I was taken to the waiting room where Sue (could sense I was anxious) chatted about how well my daughter will be taken care of. Then when surgery was over Sue got up from her desk and came over to tell me all went well surgery had finished and a nurse would be out soon to bring me to see my daughter. While talking to the nurse about post op care, Mr Cameron came and explained that all went well, asked us if we wanted to see the photo of the tooth mid surgery (we are THOSE people fascinated by surgery procedures). He wished us well and left us in his nurses capable hands to finish explaining post op instructions. We highly recommend Southern OMS, we really appreciated the professionalism, warmth, care, and follow up phone calls in the days following surgery. Thank you all so much for a positive experience!... Went for a wisdom tooth removal and got the best treatment. The procedure was fast and efficient. The doctor and the whole staff were very helpful and caring.

This is my first time leaving a Google review but I feel moved to having had such a positive experience at Southern OMS. I had an impacted wisdom tooth removed for the first time by the team at Papanui on 3/10/23 and throughout the process from initial appointment to the day of procedure itself I felt so supported. The staff are approachable, non judgemental and genuine and are happy to take the time to answer any questions or concerns you may have. I never thought that having an impacted wisdom tooth out could be a relaxing experience which is why I'm surprised and grateful. Lovely people! Made the experience so much more relaxing (as relaxing dentists can get) They talked us through everything and explained it all very well. Made everything seem so much less scary and helped through anxiety of going under for the procedure. The team at Southern OMS were great to deal with all round. From first phone call through all appointments, they were straight forward, upfront, and easy to deal with. Would recommend to any one needing an oral surgeon.

Can’t speak highly enough of Angus Cameron and his friendly, professional team. Three wisdom teeth and a tricky molar all removed swiftly and with very little post-operation pain. Communication prior to, and after-care service is exemplary.

I had an extremely friendly, professional and comfortable experience with Southern OMS when having two wisdom teeth extracted. Mr Cameron and his assistant had me in and out, with a somewhat painless and quick recovery. The receptionist Sue was exceptionally kind and attentive ☺️

I had my wisdom teeth removed a few weeks ago and it all went very well. I had never had any kind of surgery or procedure done before and I was a little anxious until I had my consult. I was a little nervous on the day too but all the staff members were so lovely and kind and before I know it I was home.
