About IMED Levante Hospital (Benidorm/Alicante) The ‘IMED Hospitales’ group is located in the south east of Spain in the province of Alicante on the Costa Blanca and in Valencia. The group was formed in 2004 when the first hospital in Benidorm, the IMED Levante (previously known as the Hospital de Levante) was inaugurated. Based on the experience gained other polyclinics and hospitals soon followed. IMED Teulada polyclinic opening in 2009, IMED Elche hospital in 2011, IMED Torrevieja polyclinic in 2015.
