UPDATE on this review so people don’t think that the hospital’s response below was by any means any good customer service. They didn’t respond to my complaint for weeks after and when they did, there was no apology by the unprofessional nurses behavior and a complete denial for what occurred below. Since the response was not adequate from the nursing supervisor, I asked my complaint to the director of the hospital. It’s been several months since my request and not one response. Read the facts below and think twice before having your loved on stay at Hospiten. After we we Worst experience at the hospital. We were told Quiron is much better as a hospital and now we know why. Below is a copy of what we attached to a formal complaint we filed weeks ago. Not one person has responded - I filed it with their hospital complaint forms and in addition, I emailed copies of the formal complaint. Below was our experience and we still don’t have all the results back :(. So glad my husband voluntarily checked himself out. They are getting a terrible reputation and losing money because of the horrific and unprofessional evening nurses - except one. We will also complain to our insurance company and will tell everyone we know how horrible it was. - here is an excerpt - On 10/28, I left my husband at approximately 9:30 pm. Before I left, we spoke with the Hungarian nurse who has been incredibly kind, very professional and compassionate since he checked in. She changed his IV fluids and we discussed his not sleeping the night prior and she said she’d ask the emergency doctor to prescribe something to help. At 11 another nurse came to check on him and again he asked for sleep help and she said she’d be back “en un ratito.” She never came back and he waited until 1 in the morning and pressed the call button but no one came for an hour . At 2 in the morning, he walked out out and three nurses were at the desk and and as he was walking towards them they started laughing at him perhaps because he seemed disoriented or perhaps they thought he was disheveled. He asked them for sleep help and they finally gave him something. From 2-4 in the morning, he slept and woke up at 4 am. His IV was out and tangled with blood coming out. He pressed the call button and no one came so he had to stop his own bleeding. I have pictures of his gown. For the above reasons we feel his care will be better at home and should anything get worse, we will go to an emergency room. We will do the follow up care as Dr. Suarez has instructed but as an out patient. He and the Hungarian nurse and the days nurses have been great and we have no other complaint. The orderlies and other hospital staff as the front desk have been very kind and professional. This lack of professionalism shown by the evening nurses is uncalled for and not what we expect for a hospital of your caliber.... (Show more)
Bad organization when making the appointment, calling more than 10 times a day, 1 hour and a half waiting to get in for the consultation, terrible treatment from the doctor, very little desire to work and even less desire to help. Change doctors to pay them more to see if this at least increases their humility
Electroencephalogram performed on February 16. As of today, March 1, they inform me that they cannot give results until March 15. I need results but they say they can't do anything. Totally disappointed.
Fine, thanks
Yesterday I had an inguinal hernia operation, and I would love to thank Dr. Pablo Sanz, the anesthetist, all the operating room nurses and those on the ward, for such wonderful care, for how they made me feel before the operation, during the operation and after it. A unique service, and to be valued in those moments. Many thanks to the entire Hospiten team... (Show more)
I went to the emergency room and everything went very well. The friendly attention from all the staff and especially the Doctor and the nurse.
I am very satisfied as a patient of this hospital... the public relations department, the customer service... The hospital experience was the worst! I can only recommend pediatrician Dr. Peter and Dr. Asuncion. My first encounter with otolaryngologist Dr. Fernandez was disappointing. My son was supposed to undergo surgery for his tonsils and adenoids after six months of check-ups. However, a week before the surgery, during an appointment with the anesthesiologist, I was shocked to learn that the hospital doesn't perform general anesthesia for kids! It seemed like a basic fact they should have known. Even worse, a friend with similar issues was advised by the same doctor that surgery wasn't necessary, just to try salt in the nose. Eventually, they went to another hospital where surgery was indeed required. My second experience was equally frustrating. Last week, I suffered from severe stomach pain, but after multiple tests, they misdiagnosed me with gastroenteritis despite no diarrhea or vomiting. They sent me home with incorrect medications. Eventually, I ended up in another hospital where I was diagnosed with a hiatal hernia. The incompetence of the doctors here is beyond belief!... (Show more)
Good treatment, speed, good professionals.
I highlight the professionalism of the staff, quality and warmth in treatment.
Good professionals and very adequate facilities
Very friendly and involved staff, excellent food, decent facilities.
They don't answer the phone, they don't answer emails, terrible organization, for a private party it leaves a lot to be desired
Very happy with the Hospital and the work of Dr. Antonio Ramírez Moreno.
The treatment of outpatient nurses with patients leaves much to be desired.
Very good facilities, the humane treatment of the staff is very remarkable. Although for some specialties there is no appointment.
Modern and clean hospital. My personal experience at this hospital has been extremely positive.
More than half an hour calling on two different phones to make an appointment that in the end they didn't even give me and on top of that without asking a single apology, then you go there in person and there is no one with the phones, a shame
IT IS HORRIBLE to call to request an appointment, it connects you directly to a Call Center and you can spend 4 days doing it and die trying.
