Hook Lane Dental Practice

Just submitted a review about requiring an implant, it automatically gave five star review when I wanted to give none, but did not give the option

I was looking to have an implant fitted, attended this practice as it was the only one that had a vacancy and now to my detriment I know why. The only good thing about this practice, is the receptionists, they are friendly, kind and helpful (except the manager, who is far too busy to talk to a patient). If you want a protracted drawn out resolution to your requirements and have bottomless pockets, this is definitely the practice for you. After numerous appointments, excuses and expense, still no implant after 18 months. if I could leave minus stars, I would. I would not recommend this practice to my worst enemy. ... (Show more)

I have always found the service and the staff at the practice very good. The electronic forms sent to complete prior to your appointment streamline the paperwork to make booking in easier. My most recent appointment was with the hygienist Natalie Tran who was very good. The treatment was fully explained and carried out promptly.... (Show more)

On the 1st visit, it would have been useful for the the Dentist to say what was going to happen next and explain what why there were so many tooth moulds taken. On the 2nd visit, the new tooth cap did not fit. It was unclear why the 3-D modelling machine was used then and not on the 1st visit - this might have helped to create a cap that fitted. It was painful to have to have a temporary cap removed only to have another one fitted. At the end of the 2nd visit, it was unusual that the Dentist gave me a Guarantee card (post-dated) for the new tooth cap - when it hadn't been fitted yet.... (Show more)

The hygienist and assistant made me feel welcome, however I feel the hygienist was very rushed in her job, it left me breathless. I was only in there for a little over 15 minutes and it cost me £85. I think the hygienist should take a little more time rather than go hell for leather on my teeth.

I have been with my dentist Sanobar for many years. She is very friendly and caring and always does a great job. She explains very clearly what treatment is needed and offers very helpful advice . She is a fantastic dentist and I cannot recommend her too highly.

I love the way the Medical staffs attended to me throughout my visit. The Dentist and Nurse that attended to me took time to explain every stage of treatment options to me. I was well looked after by them. I recommend their services to anyone looking for Dental care.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Tried other dentists in the area, but none match hook lane. Waiting time is kept to a minimum and I have nothing but praise for the dentists, dental nurses and reception. If you need a pleasant and hassle free dental experience, you won't do better than here.

Moved from another practice due to poor care, little information etc. I’ve been coming to Hook Lane Dental for several years now and I’ve found out things about my oral health and the structure of my own teeth in general that I was never told at my other practice. For instance, I have a filling on the front surface of a tooth which my prev. Dentist did. I didn’t even know it was a filling? I assumed it was glue left over from having braces - that is bad enough in itself. Dentists are knowledgeable and do what is available within the NHS pay band and they are very informative. Hygienists are excellent - Natalie Tran is extremely friendly and informative. I highly recommend her services; they are worth the price. And also the reception staff are welcoming and friendly. Again, at my old practice it was hard to even get a bit of eye contact out of them. So it’s nice to feel welcomed into the practice, especially when you’re paying for a service.... (Show more)

Amazing dentist always running on time Went there for root canal today pain free now very very good polite and very good communication would recommend too anyone too use this dentist .

The staff are all so friendly. My dentist is Kieron and I can heartily recommend him. He puts you at ease and remembers if you are nervous. He also has a great playlist! He remembered my favourite artist and played him on my next visit!

Reception staff ways friendly and helpful. They will always try to get you in if its emergency. Dr Sanobar very thorough and good dentist. Appointments are on time. I'm very happy here and been a patient for many years

I paid £3000 for the invasalign. I wasn't called for regular checks but was told to visit upon completion of all sets. The price looks high for the service - technically just for sending out invasalign sets before the treatment started.Is this normal? Otherwise I have had good experience with propmt responses from the reception staffs etc... (Show more)
