The best eye test I have ever had. Martin was very thorough and professional. He explained every part of the test to me (which was fascinating) and the entire team were superb. Thanks also to Kate for dispensing a pair of sunglasses which I am delighted with.

My wife and I went to Rawlinson's for the first time a couple of weeks ago for our routine eye test. We were recommended by a friend and were both so happy that we changed to them. We both saw Laura who was lovely, very professional, thorough and explained all the process. She gave us both a good eye exam. The staff downstairs who cater for your needs following the tests were so nice. Very helpful and informative and we both chose our ideal pair. They fit beautifully and the turn round for them was quick. The atmosphere in the business was calm, bright and extremely tasteful. We didn't know the names of all the downstairs staff but it was Sam who dealt with us and she was great. Overall a big thank you to all the staff for making our experience such a nice one. I have been a client of Rawlinsons for a number of years now. I had a consultation with Martin today for a sight test and examination. He was absolutely excellent. My issues are a little more complex than an ordinary patient. Not long ago I had corneal transplants and cataract treatment. Some problems recently so decided to see Martin rather than wait for NHS Leicester to fit me in. He gave me a thorough examination of my eyes with a recommendation as to how to deal with my problem. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. Yes SpecSavers and others but if you want a thoroughly proper expert optical service then Rawlinsons is the only place to go.... (Show more)

I took a friend for an eye test today, his case was complicated but I have never come across such a thorough , kind and informative optician. I can recommend Mr Martin Rawlinson to any one and shall most definitely be using him myself.
