About Helen Anglim - Counselling and Psychotherapy IACP-accredited counsellor & psychotherapist working based in MacCurtain Street, Cork City. I work with adults (individuals and in couples) looking for support with issues including, but not limited to, Bereavement, Grief, Loss, Stress and Anxiety, Illness, Sexuality, Abuse, Self-harm, Crisis/Suicide, Co-dependency, Self-care, Relationship Difficulties, Life Changes, Self-esteem, Depression, Low motivation and Personal Development. I fundamentally believe that every person should be able to benefit from confidential and non-judgemental support when life gets difficult. My therapeutic approach is client-centred, humanistic and integrative, that is, I value my clients' own experience of life and together we explore more fulfilling and resourceful ways of being in the world. I draw on different techniques in my work, but essentially my role is to support and empower.
