In times when many complain I wanted to highlight the good service from Hazlemere Surgery, from reception staff to the doctors have all been friendly and efficient. Prompt referrals and response, great service.

Lovely staff and doctors, couldn't wish for nicer, more professional people. Though this is the Tory NHS so expect long wait times on the phone and late appointments due to overstretched doctors. Would love them to do online booking, save a lot of the admin.

Can’t fault the service of this surgery, such excellent care from receptionist to nurses to doctors. Myself and my husband have always got an appointment the same day. Follow up calls have been very prompt. We highly recommend this surgery.

Inconsistent data between 111, surgery, pharmacy. Patients in severe pain and all the Receptionist can do is attempt to defend being correct, rather than provide a solution. And align the incorrect data between the platforms.

My local surgery. Always easy to contact. Receptionists are lovely and the nurse and GP I've seen were excellent.

Although not a patient at this surgery when trying to seek assistance for my 3 year old son who had suffered an allergic reaction the receptionist was very polite and tried her best to be helpful. Having been round the houses with a pharmacist, 111, my own GP’s to where I live and a particularly unhelpful other local surgery in high Wycombe (Penn Surgery) it was nice to speak to somebody who actually wanted to try and assist!... Been waiting 3 years to try and get through for an appointment. 2.5 years at a previous surgery and now this one at Roberts Ride. Can anyone suggest a way to at least get a telephone appointment please? Got in eventually and been pleasantly surprised at how good they all are. Just getting in is the problem.... (Show more)

I have gone to this surgery all my life, when it was at the other address as well. My parents and brother before me went as well. Have always been pretty satisfied with the care. And contrary to other comments we've always found the reception staff very helpful.

I have been with Hazlemere Surgery for many years. Its just fine as far as N.H.S surgeries go. You can"t expect five star treatment in these tough times, but I am sure the staff do the very best they can. Remember, doctors and receptionists are human: they have their bad days like the rest of us. I havent been there for over two years, despite being unwell. They have a lot of patients to deal with. I am grateful the surgery is there at all. Some have shut down over the past few years!... (Show more)

I and my family have been patients of Hazlemere surgery since moving to Hazlemere over 5 years ago, so I have been very familiar with the level of service and haven't had a bad word to say about the surgery. However something seems to have changed. Either the policy or the people, working at the surgery, who seem to do a good robot impersonation. "All appointments are triaged by telephone only", sit for 45 mins in the telephone queue, including when you are 1st in the queue "no appointments, only to be told "no appointments today, call back tomorrow at 8:30am" is wearing thin now. The rest of the country has gone back to normal, surely you cannot hide behind the "pandemic" excuse anymore. I have been in pain for several days, and despite my high pain threshold and general ability not to overreact, I have had to go to the hospital as an emergency out of hours on Saturday, because I got got the same robotic response from Hazlemere staff when I tried to make an appointment to SEE a doctor. I cannot comprehend why I still have to do my job to the same level as "before the pandemic", but the same rationale doesn't seem to apply to your surgery. Management of Hazlemere Surgery - you need to seriously reconsider your approach to care, as it doesn't seem to be very caring.... (Show more)

I have been a patient in this surgery as well as my family members for years. I would like to be honest in writing this review. The care which I have received from the Doctors has always been exceptional. However I find some of the nurses and reception staff unhelpful, argumental and uncaring. Every single occasion I require help or to book an appointment, the answer is 'No, sorry. Can't help you. Call back tomorrow. ' A GP surgery is a first place of help and contact for patients. In healthcare - you are meant to care. Don't turn us away arrogantly.... (Show more)

I and my family have been with this surgery for 34 years. We have always had professional, kind and considerate care from all concerned. I am saddened to read negative comments as they certainly don't apply to us.

Don't go there

I think it is sad to read some of the other reviews. I have been going to the surgery for over 20 years and have experienced nothing but great service , kindness, and professionalism. Some of my conditions have been serious and less so but I have always been treated well in equal measure. There is on occasion a felling that the team are under pressure but that is understandable in todays environment of deep cuts. The staff have over the past while had an influx of additional patients and they have remained courteous and friendly, however they do not have the time to spend with each patient as previously they had. When reading these reviews somehow the word snowflack comes to mind.... (Show more)

If I could give this place zero stars I would. These GPs have zero compassion for their patients.

h - 5 years ago - Review Provided by Google Maps

That 1 star = actually a zero. Terrible GPs, unkind and incompetent and unkind receptionists. Better off dealing with a robot and expecting compassion

Anna-May Smith - 5 years ago - Review Provided by Google Maps

Very friendly staff and doctors and always willing to offer help and advice. Also handy that you can book appointments with an App on your phone and then check times and order medication if needed.

Stephen Simpson - 5 years ago - Review Provided by Google Maps

The most disgusting surgery in high Wycombe. Heartless doctors and rude receptionists. I've wanted to pull my hair out every time I had to deal with them.
