Hartley Dental Practice

This is quite the best dental practice I have ever used in my 80 years. Everyone is so professional and friendly. I positively look forward to going to the dentist.

When i was younger, i had a very experience with a dentist that left me physically and mentally scarred, so much so that i would not see the dentist unless i was in pain. This all changed when i was introduced to Hartley Dental Practice and had an appointment with Gary Dorman, who instantly changed my mindset and reduced my anxiety and eventually eradicated my fears; so much so that I even opted to have some cosmetic work done to fix an issue. I have always found the standards of care and quality of work to be outstanding. Staff have always been exceptional in accommodating my needs and i always able to see the dentist if i am having any problems even throughout the pandemic. The practice always find and implement innovative new ideas in dentistry and lead the way in identifying new products for us to use. Even offering aesthetic procedures such as Botox & more. I can highly recommend The Hartley Dental Practice as a dental surgery who know the meaning of customer service, using traditional values of patient care; this mixed with modern premises, friendly staff and a value for money service that, in my opinion, is unmatched. First time of using this dental practice. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the service I received was really good. Even got a free sample of a floss brush!

I attended your surgery for many years and last year a friend suggested I try their dentist- this was a big mistake. Yesterday I came back to your surgery and omg I feel so relieved. Professional, caring, clean and my experience as a patient - i felt relieved to be back, silly as it may seem I felt safe!! Reception staff always polite and friendly. Milan is always professional and friendly, explains everything and is very gentle. Would highly recommend.

Latest experience at Hartley Dental Practice was as painless and stress free as ever. Crown preparation was difficult for Heidi, but she and Angelica worked patiently and calmly and completed the procedure. As usual, the appointment was conducted most professionally and expertly and was almost pleasurable for me!! Dentistry has come a long way since the 1950s (!) and, for me, no longer holds any fear. My treatment ends soon, and strangely I shall miss my short walk up the hill to meet with Heidi and the team. Well done all of the team at Hartley Dental Practice, from the cheery welcome from the Receptionist and the painless extraction of fees!!! Immensely pleased with Hartley Dental Practice last weekend. My temporary crown came away and after a phone call to the Practice, I was fitted in for a replacement. After not having been to the dentist for many years due to some previous trauma, I can honestly say that everyone at the practice made me feel so at ease. From the attentive team at reception, who enjoyed a good chuckle and my nervous (bad) jokes, to the calm, gentle approach of Sandeep who was to be my dentist. The dental nurses were all so friendly, and even though you could see they were crazy busy, still managed to stop to say hello to me whilst I waited and kept me updated on what was going on whilst I was there. Whilst in the "dreaded chair" I have to say that, albeit nervous, I felt like I was in safe hands. I quite enjoyed seeing all of my x-rays up on the big screen and Sandeep really took time to explain to me about the health of my teeth and what it was that I was looking at. The room was so spacious and airy, previous dentist practices I've been to always seemed so dark, nefarious and cramped. The entire place was like it though, clean, inviting and calming. Getting signed up for my first appointment was so easy, a simple phone call and then a really easy to use portal that saved me a lot of time filling in forms at the practice as I was able to do it all from the comfort of my sofa. I can honestly say that after my appointment I didn't even hesitate with signing up for one of their dental plans which, might I add, was never pushed on me at all, and not actually mentioned until I mentioned it! Even that was super simple and I managed to get all my next appointments booked in on the spot. I'm proud to say that after very nearly 40 years I remain "filling free" and hopefully with the help of my new dentist it will stay that way.... (Show more)

I have nothing but praise for this excellent Dental Practice in Hartley which should be nominated for an ‘Investors In People Award’ for its first class service. The efficiency of the Reception Staff blended with their personable approach, leads to a very high standard of customer service.The professional dentistry skills of Gary Dorman and his associates never ceases to amaze me! Now I have experienced the expertise of Caroline Askew as an oral surgeon with an extraction, I am even more impressed. She works brilliantly and uses her charisma to very good effect by calming patients and talking them through every step of the way.
