Dr. Panno qualified in his native Argentina and received his medical licence from University H.A. Barceló, Buenos Aires in 2004. Once he was qualified he started to specialise in hair transplants and capillary medicine which he practiced in Brazil, Canada and the USA before gaining certification in Spain in 2005. He is also a licenced hair transplant practitioner in the UK. Laura Krys is the senior nurse at the Dr. Panno hair transplant clinic in Marbella Spain, where she is responsible for the day to day running of the practice, training the staff, liaising with English speaking clients and arranging non-surgical care. Laura is a fully trained hair transplant surgery nurse, having graduated with a degree in Nursing from the University of Surrey in England. Since graduating in 2009, she has assisted Dr. Panno whilst he performs hair transplant procedures in Marbella Spain. Great professionals, great results. 8 months after the hair transplant I couldn't be happier. The entire pre- and post-operative process is taken care of in maximum detail. If he is not the best hair surgeon, he is very similar.

Bad experience overall. The doctor took me on the operation seat and did not warn me before starting to inject the anesthesia in the back of my head which is HORRIBLY painful. I screamed but the doctor did not stop even after it was done, carrying directly on to the operation. I was shaking out of fear and pain for a moment, but all I could hear was « please stop moving, I can’t work./I’m not hurting you ». Not even a break to make me catch my breath. That morning, the spanish assistants spoke almost zero English nor French or else (meanwhile Doc Panno called me a 'Princesita' to them while operating me…). Twice during the operation, an assistant came to me with a needle and took my arm to inject me corticoids or to take me some blood without even asking me or warning me! With of course zero english on top of that. Few times I asked questions, Doc or assistant were sighing. The pills for sedating me stopped effects one hour before the operation end and the team was not happy, asking me to go back to sleep and sighing even more at my least little move. I did my best staying still in front of the tv, knowing that I was laying non-stop from 8am to almost 3pm. This is a clinic, people deserve to be treated nicely especially paying that price, for a "VIP clinic" advertising in all Marbella. I really hope that the final hair results will match what I paid for because the experience at the clinic was quite traumatic and I would never recommend it, sorry. Maybe a training at the clinic would help for a decent experience. On a positive note, the assistant that took care of me for my two next visit was nice, polite and could speak english. Finally, I experienced the bad surprise that the doctor’s clinic refuses to give you prescriptions other than their overpriced 250€ ‘personnalized’ pills (which is basic finasteride and minoxidil) even if you’re abroad for a short time without them. I am from Almería and I come directly to this clinic because of its good reputation Exceptional treatment from the first day I contacted them, from my first evaluation in clinic they were always very attentive, advising me and helping me throughout the pre-operative process until the operation, the surgery was spectacular, both in the donor area ( something I was afraid of because in the rest of the clinics there are usually scars) like the recipient, with a very fast recovery and attentive since I left the surgery, asking me daily how I was doing in the post-operative process, I am very satisfied and Happy to have chosen this clinic.
