Dr Hermann Lee
A passionate and dedicated person in the dental health and education of the younger generation, Dr. Hermann Lee has been practicing orthodontics in Winnipeg for over 22 years. Dr. Lee holds an M.Sc Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin, and a DMD and MS (Orthodontics) from Washington University of St. Louis, USA. He also is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Manitoba. Dr. Lee believes in efficiency in treatment and is dedicated to minimize treatment time for his patients. To achieve this he has chosen to use exclusively the Speed System Braces ( ) or Invisalign ( )in the appropriate cases.
Dr Nagasundaram Deivasikamani
Dr. Nagasundaram Deivasikamani (Dr. Naga for short), was born and raised in India. There he studied dentistry and received his degree in 2000 at the Dr. MGR Medical University in the city of Chennai. He went on to starting his own private practice where he served the people of his home town. In 2004 he moved to the Persian Gulf, and working in a hospital as a dentist for almost 8 years. Along with his wife and 2 daughters, they immigrated to Canada in 2009. 2 years later he attended Schulich School of Dentistry, The University of Western Ontario for restoratve dentistry clinical skills review course. He challenged the National Dental Examining Board of Canada's DDS Equivalency process and successfully passed the examinations in 2012. In early 2013 Dr. Naga and family now call Winnipeg Home, where he spends his free time with his family, playing tennis, swimming, and horse back riding
Dr Myong Yom
Dr. Myong Yom is a 2011 graduate from the University of Manitoba. She was born and raised in Korea, and prior to becoming a dentist she worked as a Registered Nurse for 10 years. She decided to make the big move to Canada in 2001, where she would then decide to enroll in dental school. Upon graduating, Dr. Myong chose to move to Northern Manitoba and treat patients on a First Nations Reserve. Dr. Myong enjoys all aspects of dentistry and also enjoys singing and playing the flute in her spare time.

Sentiments from a Mom; we just recently visited Greenwoods Dental at Regent and our experience was not OK at all. The staff were so great and friendly however DR RUFUS ABUBAKER is not. He’s very unprofessional and rude. We brought our 6yo son to the clinic in hopes that he’ll be able to fix my son’s tooth problem but he just made our son more scared of a dentist with. My son were crying so hard being so scared of the needle and this doctor has been so impatient and not caring at all. When my son stopped from crying and decided to proceed the doctor said he’s not going to do it and recommended to do GA which we are ok. We informed our son and he started crying again as he wanted one more chance. I admit, my son can be annoying with his crying but this doctors next move is very unprofessional. DR RUFUS ABUBAKER grabbed my child with both of his hands (my 6yo child whose scared of getting his teeth done), pointed his finger to my son while saying in a loud shouting voice “We are not going to fix it so STOP CRYING, (my son still crying and more scared), STOP! (saying it with a louder voice) until my son stopped from crying then released my son from his grabbing. My child was traumatized and got even more scared. He felt unsafe from this doctor. Now how do you expect this scared child to go back to the dentist with this experience. I understand that he doesn’t have a kid coz thats what the staff says but his profession doesn’t require him to have a kid to be patient and caring. He chose to work in an industry that requires patience and care, he shouldnt be in this profession. He should understand that we are in a diversed country and he’s dealing with different culture and different upbringing. He just need to be professional, patient and caring. I hope this wont happen again but I will never ever bring my child to DR RUFUS ABUBAKER anymore at all. He’s very rude and unprofessional and with our experience I dont think he’s in the right field. Yes you can be a good doctor and good at your job but at the end of the day you are also just human so treat others with respect and care. My son kept on saying sorry to us as he see me crying because of the incident but I felt guilty for bringing him to the wrong “healthcare provider”. We will just go back to the Mcphillips br where we see this awesomeand professional “Dr. Kim” once my child is ok.... (Show more)
