This was also a very exceptional situation for us. At your last check-up, the scars appeared to have healed nicely, which currently does not seem to require any additional correction. We also appreciate that you mention that the preliminary discussions went very well and that you did not have too much pain after the operation. Our sincere apologies if the excessively debauched language in your context has offended you. This was of course not the intention, but rather intended to provide you with additional encouragement in the further course of your weight loss approach by providing some (albeit too extreme) context that was of course intended to remain in the privacy of the confidential conversation. However, it is not true that your weight was not a problem before the operation. At your first consultation, it was agreed to evaluate together 2 weeks before the scheduled operation date whether your BMI had dropped sufficiently, which was not the case. It was then decided together with you to go ahead with the procedure and to try to meet your expectations, while still making the necessary efforts to reduce your BMI. Also remember that during your tummy tuck, 1.8kg was removed and your abdominal wall muscles were tightened. Unfortunately, it is also not correct that your complaints after the operation were not taken seriously and that there was negligence. Have you not always been able to reach us? Immediately after the operation you will have received our personal mobile number to which you can text, WhatsApp or call day and night, as well as at the weekend. We are sorry that you were disappointed after our last consultation as we are unable to provide any further contouring treatment at this time. Since your BMI is still +30, an additional surgical procedure for contouring does not seem to be an option at this time, as in the same circumstances the risk of similar complications is again possible. If coaching with a dietician, together with exercise, does not produce sufficient results, a consultation with the obesity surgeon - who also performed your drainage in the hospital - may be advisable to see whether surgical intervention is appropriate in your case. .
