Although our dentists are experienced with root canal therapy, some cases are best assessed by a dedicated endodontic specialist. While we understand that it's frustrating coming in for a consultation just to be referred to a specialist, we believe it's best for a patient's health and finances. When it's unclear if a tooth can be restored, seeing a specialist can help a patient save time and money by avoiding additional treatment that's unlikely to succeed in the long term. Nevertheless, we apologize for the confusion and will update the content you highlighted to clarify that our doctors are not endodontists and that a referral may still be required.
