Ms Joanna Wisniewska
My name is Joanna Wisniewska, I was born in Poland and came to Canada in 1992. As a child, I was very fearful of the dental office. My personal experience of going through dental treatment in Canada was what initially led me to consider a career as a dental hygienist. As I underwent dental treatment, I quickly developed a strong bond with the staff that was overseeing my treatment. It was this positive experience that motivated me to work in a central Mississauga dental office and help those who experience dental anxiety, the same way I did as a child. In 1995 I became a Certified Dental Assistant and worked for four years as a dental assistant. I further continued my studies to become a Registered Dental Hygienist at Niagara College in Welland, Ontario and graduated in 2001. I have had many amazing employment opportunities as a dental hygienist over the years. Since March 2003, I have been working with Dr. David Fortinsky in Mississauga and I continue to provide dental hygiene care for his clients.
Gone to this dental office for cleanings for quite a while now. Joanna is very caring and takes her time with all of the procedures and constantly asks if I need a break or if it’s hurting. Also provides information about general oral hygiene and is very nice. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a new hygienist.... (Show more)

Joanna is a great dental hygienist with excellent knowledge and strong confidence that leads to trust her easily. She was careful and focused during my cleaning. I didn't feel any pain or discomfort. First time here for a cleaning and whitening. She is so patient, thorough, friendly and professional. She always explained what she was doing, before she did it. Constantly checked in on whether I was comfortable or needed a break. I will definitely be returning. The office is clean and so is the restroom, which is equally important. I am so pleased with my teeth cleaning, she went back in when she felt necessary and cleaned extra! My teeth look beautiful, I don't even want to wear my mask for the rest of summer! My sister and I will definitely be back for more services and cleaning. I highly recommend Glen Abbey Smiles Dental Hygiene. Found this office on Groupon, but she price matched and I don't feel that my experience was cheapened in any way. I will happily pay full price move forward.... (Show more)
Very professional and friendly.The best!
First and foremost, guaranteed the absolute best prices for service in return in all of the GTA. Joanna is extremely professional, knowledgeable in all things health related, and very passionate about her clients wellbeing... This will be my second visit for a cleaning and whitening and my only regret is waiting so long to go back! You only have one set of teeth and their health is directly related to your overall health.
