After three years (I changed jobs and moved out of Milan) I try to contact my gynecologist. The kind receptionist, underlining three/four times that "certainly in all this time" I will have found another specialist, informs me that the first availability is in January 2024. A shame. After years of follow-up, and years of difficulty, this is the result. TOTALLY NOT RECOMMENDED. Ps. No, dear switchboard operator, I have not found another specialist. Impossible to contact for a month, I call every day but I am told that all the operators are not available, I have sent several emails but nothing to do.

I have been treated for amenorrhea by Dr. Stolfi for just a month with bioidentical hormone therapy. I recommend the doctor for the professionalism and availability she demonstrated. For the moment my experience is negative, considering that we have not yet been able to make an appointment. As requested by the site, we filled out the short questionnaire about 10 days ago, my wife sent two emails to get a return and nothing, still no response. I can understand that the practice is very busy and I understand that satisfying all the requests is onerous and takes time, but we are not expecting the first visit to be scheduled for us soon, we diligently wait our turn, but we ask at least to be notified and /or contact us! I arrive at the Ginecea studio after five long years of amenorrhea, between multiple changes of gynecologists and a chorus of 'yours is hypothalamic amenorrhea, relax... do less sport... you'll see that on your honeymoon you'll lower your stress levels. ..etc. etc' 5 years in which faced with these considerations I felt wrong, thinking that I myself was the cause of that period that didn't arrive. The long-dreamed-of first pregnancy arrives with great immense joy after the first cycle of stimulation with Doctor Piloni, who for the first time in my life, with tests in hand, does not examine my conscience but explains to me that we should have worked on some hormonal values. Both Ascanio and Altea's pregnancies were then followed by the wonderful Doctor Boschetto, a luminary for the level of precision and competence in all prenatal diagnosis, as well as capable of empathy, delicacy and sensitivity so rare in the medical field. Nobody ever answers

Long waits for a visit, even a year...

I have only had experience with Doctor Piloni. Wasted time and money. She refused on the phone and did not respond to emails. I've been waiting for years. But I see I'm not the only one.

Good morning, I've been trying to contact the studio for days. The secretary said she would call me back, which she didn't and apparently also blocked me. I asked to be put in contact with Dr. Stefania Piloni for a fairly urgent problem. He said he would contact me again to let me know if Dr. Piloni would accept me. Obviously I was never contacted again. I wonder if Dr. Piloni is aware of the incorrect and unprofessional behavior of her secretary. Still waiting to be contacted again.... (Show more)

The facility is welcoming and clean and I was welcomed with kindness and courtesy. I relied on the team's experience and am very precisely following Dr. Fabio's therapy, to whom I was entrusted to solve my amenorrhea problem, which she is managing with humanity and great professionalism.

Great professionalism. First visit in October due to amenorrhea since January 2021, what can I say... many years of hiding the problem and now thanks to this center I have been reborn. In recent years the pill and other incorrect treatments had completely blocked my body. I started treatment with bioidentical hormones in October. The first month no sign of recovery of the cycle, but in the second month the results arrived. I hope that the girls who decide to undertake this path will experience what I am experiencing now. Landing here was the best thing that could have happened to me. With effort and perseverance we have achieved a wonderful "goal". In all these years I have been looked after with great humanity, empathy and professionalism by the best medical (and non-medical) staff I have ever met. In the darkest moments I received great affection... I was encouraged to move forward and in the end the joy was shared by everyone. I felt terrible. I went to get help for my amenorrhea problem, encouraged by Silvia fascians' testimony. I was treated coldly, without any encouragement, especially those of us who perhaps need a little understanding. Never again, I left in tears

April, very cold and expensive visit. I paid 235 euros for the first visit and Paptest. I stopped the pill with the help of Dr. Elena Fabio. The goal was to make my ovaries function properly and have a regular cycle (presence of microcysts). I was prescribed supplements for a total cost of around 100 euros per month which were then reduced to a cost of 70 euros and a little more after the third month. In six months with these supplements I only got my period once. I still have no period today. I wrote to the doctor several times and expressed my concerns. Despite this, I felt that to understand my state of health and to understand something about it, I had to re-appoint. Since June I have not had any updates on how to continue with the supplements, whether to continue them (also given the cost and ineffectiveness of the treatment), no questions, no interest in the patient. I was completely alone on this (very expensive) trip. It has been a lonely, ineffective, disappointing and expensive journey. I made the appointment and then canceled as I no longer had faith in this facility and in the doctor who examined me. In response to Dr. Stefania Piloni, the problem was not the cost or the six months but the approach to the patient. I have to trust and feel calm during the treatment. I don't expect that in six months I will have a regular cycle. But no I have never even suffered from amenorrhea. So if in six months I write to my doctor to understand more about my health, the only answer cannot be to make an appointment. Sure I'll make an appointment but in the meantime? I feel bad because I don't know what's happening to me. I made an appointment and canceled because I wouldn't come willingly. The cost of the treatments is fine but the hormone tests were fine but I still have no period, severe acne and increased body hair. Are 6 months of sinopol forte, Pier Paoli melatonin and Guna F2k for 6 months really necessary for what I'm going through? I do not know. And that's the problem. I felt alone and I feel bad about what is happening to me. I prefer a doctor who is more attentive to the person I am.... (Show more)
