Dr Paul Moore
Qualified in 1981 in Sheffield, Dr Moore ran a private dental practice in North Devon for 15 years, and moved to Ireland in 1997. Originally founded by Dr Gerry Meehan, the practice was well established when Dr Moore moved to Galway in 1999. Then after four years the practice relocated to Gate Clinic and by merging a combination of personal service and advanced technology, merged the personal values of an old practice with the modern services of the new. The spacious cheerful practice gives a warm reception to all patients, and reflects Dr Moores philosophy:
Dr Ian Wellings
Dr Ian. J. Wellings has 15 years of clinical experience in Oral Implantology. While working in German private practice in the late 1980s, he decided to seek education in the then new field of Oral Implantology and attended the Second Maxi Course at theMedical College Georgia USA and subsequently passed the written examination for the Associate Fellowship of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Ian and his wife Linda offer a surgical service with intravenous sedation for implant placement and wisdom teeth extraction within the practice. In 1998 he met Dr Hilt Tatum. Since then Dr Tatum has been his teacher and mentor. They have spent many hundreds of clinical hours together both in Florida and in the UK. As a member of the faculty of the Tatum Institute,he has clinical teaching experience and has made presentations to the students as well as to the Yorkshire section of the Association of Dental Implantology.

Hi, Gate Clinic Galway in Dock Road is a great place to go take care of your teeth. The team on duty was very professional, gentle, and kind to me. They explained very well what was going on and what to do in order to keep my teeth healthy. Jeannis was so courteous and very kind. She got me the appointment so quickly and assisted me in filling out the form. Hygienist Blaithin did a great job with my teeth. She took her time and didn't rush. Nurse Patricia was very attentive and friendly. The end result was impeccable. They made me feel comfortable while I visited the clinic. They all showed excellent customer service. I consider myself fortunate to have signed up to a practice as good as Gate Dental Clinic. Both the Dentist and the Hygienist are top notch and explain what they are doing and why clearly so you feel comfortable and confident in their care, The dental assistants and the reception team are friendly, happy, polite and effective. The location is great, I walk in a couple of miles to them and whilst usually appointments are planned ahead when I had something that needed swifter attention they were able to fit me in rapidly which was a great relief. Lovely place. Very professional. But they could explain more what they are doing things like x-rays. Plus I believe there online pricing is incorrect
Absolutely Excellent Dental treatment and care from Dr Brian Delgado and the team in The Gate Clinic. I came in with a horizontally impacted tooth which had given me excruciating pain for quite some time, Claire the receptionist was absolutely brilliant, very caring, patient and professional and couldn't do enough to accommodate the immediate care needed. The care I received from Dr Brian and his wonderful nurse Mrudula and team where exceptional, My experience was very pleasant indeed. The staff at gate clinic were very helpful, friendly and kind. Mrs. Blaithin, the hygienist, helps me a lot giving explanations about what she is doing, why it’s necessary to use care gel or mouthwash. When I came first time, I had problems with my gums. Now, thanks to her, the situation improved. I am taking this opportunity to THANK YOU.

Gate Dental made returning to the dentist an easy process. Very professional effective service. Solid treatment plans, my teeth have never been in better shape. Joanna, Blaithin and Brian really did a great job in recovering my teeth and gums and putting a solid plan in place to save my teeth!

First of all a massive shoutout to Claire working at reception, who got me an appointment within minutes to see Dr Brian, about a week after having my root canal treatment. Feels absolutely amazing being able to rely on this team. Dr Brian, who did my root canal treatment, made me feel completely at ease and talked me through everything we were doing. I am very happy with the treatment I received from the hygienist Blaithin today. I am a nervous patient and Blaithin put me at ease and talked her way through the procedure and ensuring that I had enough pain relief. We all know it's not always easy for kids to attend the dentist, but Dr. Adela Dragoi and her assistant made me and my son in particular feel quite at ease. They went through tremendous lengths to detail what would occur. For even more clarity, X-rays and pictures that were taken during the appointment were displayed on a large screen that could be seen from the dentist's chair. We had serious concerns about how my son's teeth were developing. Dr Adela Dragoi showed us cases of patients who had experienced similar orthodentic issues, and this significantly boosted our faith in her ability to help him achieve a healthy smile after treatment.
