I got some dentures there about 6 7 years ago and I was wondering would it be ok to come back as they are in a bad way.And if it was possible to have a look at my teeth.I am on a medical card I was just wondering do you still accept it.
Frank Cuddy
Frank is the original force and the Principal Dentist behind Frank Cuddy & Associates Dental Surgeons, Bridge St ,Galway. Frank is originally from Co. Galway. He provides outstanding aesthetic and general dentistry for his patients. Frank qualified from University College Dublin in 1975. After working the first 10 years of his career in private practice in South London he returned to work in Galway City. Frank brings a wide practice experience to the surgery and is dedicated to clinical excellence, with vast experience in Endodontic (Root Canal) treatment, Cosmetic/ Implants /Crown/Bridge and General Dentistry Frank has worked as a General Dental Surgeon in Galway city for the past 23 years is highly regarded in his field both in London and in Galway and is a member the Irish Dental Association. Like the other three dentists in the practice Frank regularly attends “Continuing Professional Development” (CPD) seminars and courses which ensures he is up to date with new methods and technologies.
Lorraine Egan
Lorraine Egan graduated as a Dental Surgeon in 2005 having received her degree from Trinity College Dublin she completed a vocational training programme in Waterford in private practice and with the Health Service Executive (HSE) Lorraine joined Frank Cuddy and Associates Dental Practice in Sept 2006. Lorraine is a huge asset to the practice brings with her not only clinical excellence but also a wonderful manner. Lorraine has completed courses in Rotary Endodontics, (Root Canal treatment) restorative dentistry and restorative implant placement. Like the other three dentists in the practice Lorraine regularly attends “Continuing Professional Development” (CPD) seminars and courses which ensures she is up to date with new methods and technologies.
Mark Hurley
Mark Hurley Studied dentistry in UCC and thereafter worked in the UK in both General Practice and in a number of Oral Surgery/Maxilla-facial Hospital Departments, subsequently completing the fellowship in Dental Surgery Examinations at the Royal College of Surgeons in London with a focus on Oral Surgery/Oral Medicine. He joined Frank Cuddy and Associates Dental Practice in 2003. Mark makes an invaluable contribution to the practice he brings with him a wealth of post-graduate expertise in whole area of Oral Surgery/Oral Medicine. Like the other three dentists in the practice Mark regularly attends “Continuing Professional Development” (CPD) seminars and courses which ensures he is up to date with new methods and technologies.
Gerard Cuddy
Gerard qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 2005. After graduation Gerard completed a year of vocational training in Longford and later carried out some voluntary work in Central and South America (Honduras, Peru & Quito) Article featured in IDA Journal August/September 2009 Vol 55 P.174 Gerard worked for 4 years as a general practitioner in private Dental Practice in Dublin and also in Co. Galway before returning to his native city to join his father’s practice Frank Cuddy & Associates Dental Surgeons, Bridge St ,Galway. Since graduating Gerard has completed courses in cosmetic dentistry and rotary Endodontics and has gained vast experience in Endodontic (Root Canal) treatment, Cosmetic/Crown/Bridge and General Dentistry. Like the other three dentists in the practice Gerard regularly attends “Continuing Professional Development” (CPD) seminars and courses which ensures he is up to date with new methods and technologies.
Dr. Cuddy and all his staff treated me very well. Very happy with the dental treatment received and I would highly recommend a trip to Cuddy Dental!
I liked how my tooth was treated at this clinic. Very high quality work! At the consultation, they took x-rays and explained me which teeth needed to be treated. The prices are good.
Excellent experience. Everyone from the receptionist who took my booking to the surgery staff were personable, professional, and very empathetic. The waiting room and surgery were both comfortable and very clean, and the work was completed quickly, adeptly, and smoothly.
I have been coming to Cuddy Dental for a number of years now, and I can safely say I have never had a bad experience. Today I had a tooth extracted, I am terrible when it comes to needles so I was a nervous wreck! I had rang during the week to let them know this and they couldn't have been kinder. My front teeth. One is a little longer than the other. I came for extraction. One inspection the dentist treating me said she one froth tooth is longer than the other. She suggested to even them out. She filled away too much !! And I knew during it she had messed up. She continued to try filing both And now one of my front teeth is even more smaller than the other.. Disgusted 👎... (Show more)

After a bad experience in a previous dentist I went to Cuddy's today as an absolute wreck. Mark couldn't of been more understanding and nice to me. He listen and put me at ease straight away. I'm so thankful for his kindness and sorting my tooth without zero pain. Will definitely not be afraid to go back to him for future appointments and will be less nervous in doing so thanks to him... Patient, helpful, affordable, even trying to help my misaligned teeth due to not wearing retainer post braces, discreet location at the ground floor of the apartment, white door white window.
This review is years overdue, but once I was in severe pain with a dental nerve pain. It was Saturday and Dr Cuddy was the only dentist that would see me (my regular dentist would not see me the few days prior) and was so assuring when I arrived to the practice. He made no big deal about it. He immediately recognised the problem and proceeded to fix it. I am still grateful to this day.... (Show more)

Recently had an appointment with the practice. Clodagh's customer service skills were excellent. I was in a lot of pain and a bit cranky to say the least! She and Breda dealt with me very professionally and patiently. Highly recommend.
Absolutely fantastic! I am terrified of dentists and yet theses guys are fantastic. The most gentle and understanding I have ever seen. Amazing work done and regular prices. Highly recommend especially for any one who is uncomfortable with dentists
Got some composite bonding done by Dr. Cuddy done a number of years ago and have been consistently complemented on the quality and durability of this by other dentists since. Customer service and care is top notch along with the top quality work 👌 …
Dr. Cuddy is such a kind and knowledgeable dentist. He gave me two crowns and colour matched them to my natural teeth perfectly. Other dentists had said it was impossible to do this, as these teeth were too small, but he did it no problem! I'd highly recommend this dentist to anyone.
Dr. Cuddy is a skilled and experienced dentist. He did surgical extraction for me last Friday. I even didn't feel my wisdom tooth was gone until he told me. He gave me his private number after extraction in case of bleeding. I felt very well, no post pain, no bleeding at all. I would highly recommend
