Surgery is serous business and Dr Dan and his staff are the epitome of what a surgeons practice should be. I couldn’t believe how well Dr Dan understood my situation. The outcome of my surgery was 100% what it should have been, no complications. Kim runs the office like a well oiled machine, never missing a beat on the paper work side and Dr Dan is also accessible threw Kim in real time so there was no hold up on any paper work or questions that I had. I am speaking from experience as my first shoulder operation was done by the Adelaide sports hospital where compared to Dr Dan I was treated like a second class citizen, my surgery had terrible complications and the reception staff needed managing from myself. I cannot recommend Dr Dan enough for Shoulder Replacement Surgery. He is a caring surgeon that has the patient’s welfare at heart. I had heard many horror stories about shoulder surgery and the recovery period although thanks to Dr Dan this proved to be unfounded. His directions for recovery including those to Physiotherapists are clearly set out in writing. I have not received better medical service in 40 years! From the friendly reception who communicated excellently throughout my treatment to Dr Dan’s ability to minimise my discomfort (incl two surgeries) and regain my functionality in the quickest manner possible.

Dr Dan is a wonderful Dr and surgeon. Talks at a patients level. As an 11 year old breaking your arm is scary. But Dr Dan made it less scary and really took the time to listen to me about my pain and recovery options as a competitive swimmer missing 6 weeks is a long time but Dr Dan was able to explain to me in terms I could understand the need to rest and let the bone heal properly. He also is just a nice friendly person. Our family have all seen him (except my brother) for our shoulder/arm/thumb problems and can’t recommend him or his staff enough.
