For a journey that may cause a lot of uncertainty and stress, Fembryo really goes out of their way to decrease that. We have had the pleasure of seeing all 3 doctors (Botha, Sieg and Prince) somewhere along the line since we've started with our journey and have only good things to say about all of them - however we are primarily with Dr Botha and he really is the kindest and most thoughtful doctor I have ever met.... Dr Prince was lovely but the administration here has been awful. I sent in forms for medication authorisation a month in advance of when my previous authorisation was meant to lapse. After multiple emails, vague replies and promises to 'wait until next week' I'm still waiting. Medication is no longer covered and I can't afford it out of pocket. At time of writing it has been 34 days since I requested help, and multiple unanswered emails. Incredibly frustrating experience when you're charged +-R600 for an 'office fee' for documents only to get them after being ignored for a month, if I ever get them.... (Show more)

Thank you very much for the 5 star service. Many doctors treat people as a bundle of symptoms and forget that we are also "human beings". I can write a book of gratitude but Google won't allow it. Dr Botha is the best in the business. I can’t begin to thank him and his team for the not only operating but for ALL the support and MANY phone calls and attention to detail when consulting me. In late August I was admitted to hospital after constant bleeding, my gynaecologist was able to get me an emergency consultation with Dr Botha and within 2 minutes he provided me with a diagnosis of stage 4 Rectovaginal Endometriosis (this diagnosis was confirmed with a rectal scope). Fast forward to early October Dr Danie Botha along with his amazing team, operated to remove the endometriosis and return my quality of life. You can see how he genuinely cares about his patients and goes the extra mile to make sure his patients get the best care. He listens and answers questions with so much clarity. Admin staff are totally useless, only helpful people are sister pam, and the friendly receptionist. The others have no matter of urgency and expect people to wait for days and weeks even months for important documents. I have had it with the inçompetency of the admin staff.

Professional and attentive

My partner and I were disappointed in our initial experience today and that has unfortunately left a bad taste in our mouths. As we all know, these appointments are not easy to get, and so after patiently waiting for appointment to arrive (which we had no issue with), we were excited for our initial consultation which we were told would be 3/4 hour to 1 hour. We arrived 15 min ahead of time to complete forms. Once 15 min had passed past our appointment time, we started to get frustrated as no one even communicated to us that there may be a delay. Then 30 min passed, I got up to ask reception and she first told me that my appointment time was actually 15 min later than what I had on my cal (and even if so, we had still been waiting almost an hour). Basically our appointment should have ended by this time. No further comm's or apology, we waited another 15min, to finally decide to leave. As we approach reception again, no apology and reception then proceeded to tell us the doctor was ready and not to worry as the consult is only a few min. This made me very frustrated as it contradicted what was initially told to us, and overall there was no respect for our time and emotion in the process. Zero communication the entire wait.... Fembryo was my first choice, and after my experience with them, is my only choice. Their new facility is beautiful, it's modern and very professional and most importantly inviting, it has a sense of excitement and family. The employees are so kind and more then accomodating. They really seal the Fembryo package of not only a good facility with good practices, but good employees. As a client I'm extremely happy I choose them, I feel safe in my choice with then and highly recommend them to anyone seeking a fertility clinic for whichever variety of procedures you are looking for....
