I first came here in 2010 in agony with tooth ache. Antony quickly remedied the issue and a plan was put together for further treatment. I’ve been coming here ever since. He identified I’d been long suffering with Bruxism, which my previous dentist had failed to identify. I can’t fault the treatment or the staff. I have found them all to be friendly. Can’t recommend this dental practice enough. Used NHS and private in the past but none come close to the treatment and care I received at this practice. Have had three implants carried out by Antony, a truly excellent dentist.

Do not ever use this dental practice . The reception staff are not very friendly . The main dentist Anthony had a don't care attitude. Didn't know how to administer pain relief effectively and just wanted my money . Terrible service

Having been a dentist dodger for most of my life, I needed help. Met with Antony to make a plan that included wisdom teeth removal, capping my front teeth I’d ground through and cosmetic whitening. I chipped 2 front teeth & wasn't regstered with a dentist. I emailed Family Dental & Anthony emailed back within 30 minutes saying he could help. No apology nor accountability for changing daughter’s dental appointment as they had not given enough time. Will be further delayed by weeks. We contacted The Family Dental Practice, as my husband was in a lot of pain as his Dentist let him down on an emergency appointment. Anthony Sheppard was Extremely accommodating & understanding with finding a cancellation slot. After examination the tooth was extracted very professionally and pain-free. Long and painful experience. Came in to this practice to fix front tooth when Composit filling broke off. Have been advised by young female dentist that I need a veneer. She sounded very reassuring, agreed on six top raw veneers. Six months and five thousand pounds later I've got those veneers in. Let's forget for a while that on one of those sessions I was injected an elephant dose painkiller, which made me sneeze, caugh and choke while under a drill, my face was swollen and painful to to touch for two days. But it seem to be that the young female dentist and their dental technician doesn't know what a symmetry or vertical line is , which normally children learn that at the age of 6. Had some crowns refitted on some implants. Also had a hygenist teeth clean, which was very thorough. Very reassuring and friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Very professional Dentist Surgery. I needed a filling quickly as I was having an op in 2 days and they fitted me in the same day. The practice is private and the staff are lovely.
