With over 32 year’s of clinical experience in the NHS and Private Sector I offer a range of interventions that are designed around you, your lifestyle and what you want to achieve. Here I describe the programmes I offer and the rationale behind them. You may recognise that you have thoughts, beliefs, feelings, behaviours, habits or disorders you do not want and wish to address. Perhaps aspects of your life past and present compromise your potential to succeed and be happy? You may be struggling with weight, ill health or even the consequences of treatment. You may be very successful but something is compromising you? Often in such circumstances people see a 'problem' in themselves. 'I should be able to cope better' …. 'why am I not strong enough?'….'why am I just not right?.... 'why can’t I lose weight?' It’s time to change. It’s time to stop sabotaging yourself, blaming yourself. It’s time to develop new ways of thinking, believing, feeling and doing. The essence of my programmes are the shift in thinking that you will make. I will help you to see yourself differently, to love and respect yourself, and to nurture a healthy relationship with those around you. By using a combination of therapeutic tools and devising a programme that is tailored to your needs we will together forge a new you, a confident, in control, happier, more content, healthier you. The programmes I offer are designed around you. An initial consultation enables us to arrive together at a 'formulation' … an agreed and relevant way forward. The approaches I use include Counselling, Mind Management (similar to CBT), Life Coaching and Clinical Hypnotherapy. Within these specific tools are: · The 'Hypno Band' for weight loss · Aversion Therapy' re unhealthy habits · Ego building re low self esteem and lack of confidence · Mind Management re self defeating A typical programme will be consist of an initial consultation on a no obligation basis followed by five further face to face sessions. These are usually delivered over 2/3 months with support in between: I use the term 'programme' as support in between sessions is offered via email, telephone, and other media.
